I am totally worn out. Worked 19.5 hours overtime in a week. And my dogs started throwing up on Thursday. Luckily it only hit 3 but I am going to have to steam clean my carpet.
I had to rush one to the vet Friday because he had been vomiting over 24 hours. I lucked out in that they got me in and out and I was able to get to work on time. They did 2 XRays as we weren't sure if he may have gotten into something that obstructed his intestine. They did not want to give the anti-nausea med.
Luckily (?) one of the other 4 started vomiting Saturday so we knew it was a virus. I third got sick Sunday AM. 2 did not get it but one has diarrhea 
Hoping to get back to some normalcy. |

I am trying to rest today. Will steam clean carpets Friday or Saturday if the weather cooperates.
Last summer, 4 of the 5 got a stomach virus and it was much much worse than this one. I have SpotBot circles all around the house from this past weekend.

There was just something on the news this afternoon about the dog flu in this area. I hope it isn't that.

There really is a such thing as dog flu? I didn't know that. Hope your furbabies feel better soon, labby. Yep - www.cdc.gov/flu/canine/ But it looks like it is respiratory, not digestive. The news started out saying "all pet owners must be aware, blah, blah, blah" and then moved on to "affects dogs...." so I stopped paying attention. |

Thanks. We bought a Rug Doctor machine last Spring and I am shampooing the hallway, dining room and living room. Almost done. Waiting for some areas to dry. Then waiting for hubby so he can help me move some stuff. I hate those SpotBot circles in the carpet.

We have to do a roof, then heating/ac. Then maybe flooring.
