Side note: I was watching CNN covering this and the reporter said something to a few guys, in the background, playing in the snow. She said something like...hey, we're on live tv here. I thought it was rude of her.

I saw another reporter say the same thing to a guy that was walking up to him during the snow coverage last night.
I think it is more a thing about the reporter letting them know so no obscene words are shouted out by the bystanders while they are doing the report. Not that it would stop some people but just kinda giving a headsup to try and avoid a situation.
They can't "bleep" out words on a live broadcast.

Titus you have to shovel and then mark your spot with a chair or something correct?
