Good morning!
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and I'm determined to have a productive day. Started the morning doing Pilates in my living room directed by Nicole Stewart on youtube. The cup of coffee beside me in a colorful Fiestaware mug is making me happy.
Can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of April. I had a bunch of listings end yesterday and I still have some freebies left for this month, so I guess I'll start with relisting today and then move on to taking pictures of some spring/summer footwear.
What are you up to today?

Thankfully I have a bright, sunny, seasonably mild day to look forward to after several days of torrential rain. Yay! Did a load of eBay laundry yesterday, so I have to take some pics while I can. Maybe even laundry again. Then I hope to get a bunch listed to shake some more sales loose, although I only have 9 freebies left for this month. Happy Hump Day to all...

Weather here is great too! I am taking a few more pictures and then listing. I have a lot of listings left over to use before the 1st. I'm sending everything I can to auction. It's a little spiteful since I'm going to have to pay to do that in 2 days!

Sunny today and will be 67!!! Baby-sitting today, so won't get much done. Plan is to take Jaxson for a John Deere tractor ride around the field behind me that belongs to my ex-MIL.
I am sure that he will want to dig for worms in my future garden area. Oh yum.

That sounds like fun, Denise - I bet he'll love the tractor ride!
It's bright and sunny here as well. I'm drinking tea out of my favorite lime green mug - no Pilates for me, but I'll get my workout later on doing housework.

Definitely no Pilates for me today or ever.
Beautiful sunny day but a little on the chilly side for the end of April in south Texas. Even turned the heat back on this morning to take the chill off.
Staying in today so getting some house cleaning done. Nothing major, just cat hair removal.
I have let my Ebay listings run down to almost nothing but plan to regroup and get a bunch of new stuff up the first week in May.

I'll be taking some more pictures later. Another sunny day here and I have the family room to myself for a couple of hours this afternoon. I've been puttering around outside. I want to get the garden in this weekend. We have usually planted by now, but we've had unseasonably cold weather this year. We had a frost just a couple of nights ago. That's unheard of here in late April.

I don't dare plant the garden until after May 15. I swear it will frost every time that I plant it before then and we end up replanting half of it. We had a freeze a week ago and frost every night for the last week.
Did laundry on Monday, took pics yesterday, so today I'm listing for a while, then making a grocery list for grocery shopping tomorrow (ick!!!). But I'll be able to stop at my favorite church thrift. It's the last day of the month, so they usually have a 3/99¢ color tag sale.

Cat hair removal is major cleaning in my book. It's warming up here again, should be in the mid 70s this afternoon so the garden is happier and so am I. They are still projecting 90 for the weekend. Yippiee!! I'm doing some bulk cooking today. Have 2 lbs of chicken thighs braising right now. Some will end up as chicken salad, some will go into stir-fry, and I'm thinking of trying a curry with the rest. Also have a pound of chorizo that I will brown up. I like to keep it in the fridge to add to eggs for breakfast or as fixings for a quick taco or quesadilla. If I still have any energy I may do a batch of pancakes. I like to have them in the freezer so I have something to pop in the microwave when I just can't face cooking. Then later I plan to just sit in the yard and watch the garden grow and the birds, butterflies and hummers buzzing around.

Well, now that you mention it and I look around here, major cleaning may be a more appropriate term.
But no dusting, absolutely no dusting. Not that major.

I'm stuck at home today due to a car repair. My agenda consists mostly of laundry and cooking.
Speaking of birds, there is a bird that has been trying to get in the house for a week now. It tries one back window and one front window many, many times every day. I hope he'll give up and find a nest somewhere.

It's suppose to rain later today. Perfect motivation for staying inside and listing!

It's a glorious day here also. I've been enjoying the warmth and sunshine after spending another 2 weeks in hospital for a MRSA infection. Sheesh, can I please just recover without all the complications? On the plus side the leg wound skin graft seems to have taken completely.

Oh heck Titus, that is awful. That MRSA is scary stuff. But I am glad your skin graft it taking. Take care of yourself and enjoy the sunshine.

Wow Titus-sorry and take care of that!!!
Shirley-you are so domestic!!!
Jaxson enjoyed his tractor ride, and then we had to dig to wormies in my garden. I finally convinced him to put them into a baggie and they are now dried up and dead. But he is carrying them around lovingly.
My bad-I put on cartoons since I need to sit down!!!
Emerald-I used to have a cardinal that repeatedly slammed into my garage window. I finally put screens into all 5 of my downstairs windows and he quit. From what I read, either he needs to travel in one direction and my house is in the way...or he sees his reflection and is attacking that bird. Screens did work.

This bird attacks both the back and the front windows, with and without screens, although more often it's the top part of the windows, without screens. Who knows what's going on in his little bird brain? I'm feeling kind of sorry for him, since he just doesn't know where to go. He's tapering off today, so maybe he'll quit in a day or two.
Titus, that sounds awful, but I hope you're healing quickly.

Beautiful here today too - low 70's and glorious sunshine! Still too cool at night for planting though. Here they say not til Mother's Day is a good rule of thumb. It's my birthday and my friends at the antique mall treated me to pound cake and fresh berries - it was so good! Now I'm home and trying to get a little picture taking and listing done before we go out to dinner tonight. A good day!
Titus - that sounds terrible but I hope it is healing quickly and not too painful!

Man, Titus! I'm so sorry to hear about that setback. My BIL had a MRSA infection in his hand and it was not fun. Hopefully you're truly on the road to recovery now. You sure deserve a break after all you've been through. Glad you're back here with us.
Emerald, that is SO weird. I think I've had a random bird fly into the window 2-3 times in my whole life. I've never heard of one repeatedly doing it. It really is kind of sad. I hope he finds his way.
Well, I didn't get started on my shoes/sandals, but I did get six other listings done. Ran across some stuff that I felt should be listed sooner rather than later. Those shoes will still be there when I wake up tomorrow....and the next day and the next day.

Welcome back, titus! Hope you stick around longer, this time...

Emerald since he is especially attacking the parts of the windows with no screen perhaps he is seeing his reflection and thinks it's another bird and he is trying to attack it.
