If you had something on auction that hadn't sold in at least 4 cycles, and a buyer sent you an ASQ offering to buy your item if you'd add BIN to it? Opening auction price is reasonable, not a penny or 99-cent deal. I just keep forgetting to bid on it.

Does she think she has to bid at the last moment, like RL auction?

It wouldn't bother me as long as the price isn't lower than the starting price. Depending on what it was, I might not do it, but I wouldn't be annoyed unless they wanted it for less than the current auction price.

I'd be the buyer, not the seller. I don't even mind if she wanted to up the price a little to cover any fees, etc. I don't use snipe services and I'm not around at whatever time she keeps ending the auction. I was hoping she'd figure it out and relist it at FP but she doesn't have a store so I'm guessing she gets free auctions right now.

I've done it once before. I don't use a snipe service and often forget to bid. I asked very politely, mentioned that I kept forgetting. Didn't mention the number of cycles or a price I would pay for it. The seller was glad to sell it. I think if your tone is sincere they won't mind.

Why not just bid on it early? No reason to wait until the end. When you see it up for auction bid and then check back later and see if you got it. I don't worry about sniping anymore. I put my max bid in and forget about it until it's over.

It wouldn't annoy me at all. That's life. Someone sees it when they see it.

I'm with Peek on this one. If it's been listed 4 times with no action, I just take my chances. It doesn't sound like it's a "hot" item.
I haven't used a sniper service in YEARS!
Would it bother ME? Not at all. I get offers all the time. If I don't want to accept the offer, I simply say "no thank you" or send them a counter offer in the message. The only thing that would bother me is if I had a $200 and someone offered me $5. I might respond with "when your high wears off, please submit a reasonable offer" LOL!

It wouldn't bother me at all. What bothers me is when someone asks for a BIN and then that person disappears.
