well...i am more than kicking myself for ONLY just finding these on the USPS free shipping supplies website...
1. i had been getting free supplies for priority for years BUT
2. i have ONLY just discovered the padded priority tyvek mailing envelopes that are flat rate $5.05.
3. i hate to even think of how much money i spent on priority shipping previously...but that is water under the bridge.
4. i hope that someone else might benefit from knowing about these. you can stuff clothes and bulky items in them...great find.
hugs to all.

The PFRE is one of the greatest finds of the Western World.
You have only begun to imagine how much you will love it, grasshopper.

Been using them for years, but they haven't been 5.05 for years either. I don't know the real price, I think it's $5.95, but depending on your discount level with Ebay, they'll either be 5.70 or 5.35. My TRS acct is 5.35, non TRs is 5.70.

Also, they're not Tvyek. The first generation was paper & the current generation is plastic. Kritter is right, they're great! Second most common usage in my business.

Love, love, love them! I pay $5.35 for mine, though.

I still have some of the paper ones that I put aside when the plastic ones came out.
The bubble part comes out easily and I have used it to wrap breakables.

They are padded flat rate, not flat rate envelopes (the cardboard ones) so should be paid for as such. $5.35 with discount or $5.70 without the discount.
I use them all the time also. What a savings for buyer and seller!

I almost never use the regular tyveks for anything any more. Once in a blue moon someone is close enough to me that regular PM is cheaper, but the PFRs are the bomb. I have a few of the old paper ones left too. If I get down to those, I know it is time to order more plastic ones.

i AM paying 5.05 on both paypal and amazon. flat rate envelope rate. Uh oh, whoever you send them to may get hit with postage due on the price difference. They need to be sent under the padded flat rate designation and not as the flat rate envelope.

i AM paying 5.05 on both paypal and amazon. flat rate envelope rate. Like Shirley said, you are paying the wrong rate & for the wrong service!
Flat rate envelopes are the cardboard ones. These are called Padded Flat Rates & are either $5.35 or $5.70 depending on your ebay status.
You don't want your buyer to get hit with postage due.
