Hi- I just remembered eCrater last night; I think me & my Sis tried selling on eCrater about forever ago (over 10 years ago probably). We sold a couple of things and then decided it was too much trouble to sell in multiple places. But now so many of us are branching out; has anyone tried selling there lately?

Not in a long time. I had some stuff up there years ago, but I never could figure out their stupid shipping matrix so I closed everything up. Hopefully they've improved that feature since then.

Well, if their shipping matrix sucks, I don't wanna bother. It's bad enough figuring out Etsy & Bonanza's shipping cost; don't want to add more grief to the listing day.

They haven't improved much there. Maybe added a few things, but the shipping matrix is still the same. I probably have 5 accounts there that I can't remember the logins to LOL

I wonder if they realized how many potential sellers they ran off by not improving the shipping matrix? I never understood why it had to be soooooooo complicated.

I've only sold a few items in the last three months that I've been there. I haven't listed there at all in January, but the other two previous months I sold 2 items a month. I didn't have an problem with the shipping matrix??? I did a flat shipping fee. Selling there is a lot less stressful. Ebay is my most stressful, with AZ coming a very close second.
I plan to list all my collectibles on ecrater this month. My plan is to keep listings separate. Only list collectibles on ecrater and bonanza since they do so bad on ebay for me. Clothing on ebay and new in box an Amazon.

Estee, they may have improved it. It's been 3 years at least since I tried selling over there, so hopefully they did improve it.

take this FWIW.
as a buyer, I associate it with rampant fraud and counterfeits. I personally wont shop there. I ran into a few listings over Christmas and I either bought elsewhere or just did without. I don't put myself in a precarious position over a $12 top, kwim?
as a seller, I wouldn't want to be associated with them. see above.
there are a lot of other reputable sites these days that are nice alternatives. i'd really look elsewhere if it were me.

I didn't realize they weren't reputable. I guess I can concentrate on Bonanza, but I've had a few problems with them. I won't use the sync feature that may help and only give Bonanza certain inventory following my plan. Are there any other sites you recommend? Thanks

If we could sell on a few different sites and get a couple a month from each one it would be great!
Thanks for my cocoa

Almost 7 months since sandra brought up ecrater - anyone sell there now? What's the deal with not being 'reputable'? I hadn't heard anything like that. I signed up ages ago but that dang shipping matrix blew my head up so never listed anything.
