I found this at VV on Sunday. It's suede, I can't even read with the label says, but it's made in Mexico. I am thinking maybe early 60s? I appreciate if anyone can decipher the label. Any suggestions on era, style, keywords, price, etc. are appreciated

Plata Y Piel is a leather goods store in Guanajuato, Mexico so maybe a garment made to sell in that store by Arttimex S. A. which was a leather goods company in Mexico known mainly for their hand tooled purses.

I'd say late 60s/early 70s. The bags I've seen made by Arttimex seem to be of that era, and it fits. IIRC, I sold a leather cape made by them that I picked up, of all places, in Norwich, England - it was late 60s.

Mexico to Texas seems a tamer journey
Thanks so much! In googling Arttimex I haven't really been able to find anything.
