Some of that is really cute, but I don't think Milly is as known/doesn't have the cult following of Lilly. And it is pricey too, for Kohls. I don't usually shop there, but I may have to stalk a sale on a few of those pieces.

I agree, Lilly is like a cult! My daughter and I were saying this yesterday and comparing it to Kohls launch of Milly. I'm interested to see the quality since there are a few pieces I really like.

When I first looked at the Lilly pre-view on Target's website the first thing I thought was that it looked cheap.

Target had to have spent mega bucks on advertising. A lot of commercials. Kohls and Milly? This is the first I'm hearing of it.
I like some of the dresses (probably too short for what I'm looking for) and the sateen crops. I'm sure they'll be on sale/clearance and you can earn/stack Kohl's cash with it. Eventually!

No, it's not. Who is Milly? From the models it appears it's targeted to a younger and thinner crowd than what I deal with.

Just googled her. Meh. Few pieces I looked at only went to size 10. No wonder I had no clue who it is.

To bad I refuse to shop at Kohls because they are refusing to sell to resellers.
THAT is the difference between Target and Kohls. Target doesnt seem to care that the entire line was snapped up by resellers.

I buy for resale all the time at Kohls, mup. Never had a problem.
Of course, I also don't advertise it by looking up prices and completeds on my cell phone while in the store, nor do I return things that don't sell.
I can sort of see where Kohls is coming from, IF a good % of resellers are returning items they can't sell. OTOH, if resellers ARE returning in large quantities, Kohls only has themself to blame since they have such a lax return policy.

WHAT? Really? I thought it was one of those brands that most clothing resellers knew.
But then again, I know there are brands out there that you all know that I've never heard of.

I don't know the name either, but that's not a market I usually shop for or things that I see here.

I have sold some Milly in the past, although it's another line that used to do much better for resale than it does now - at least for me.

I have had a hard time selling the few Milly things that I have listed. Her stuff is what I consider on the expensive side too.
I saw a LP Target ad today. Someone on Facebook said they bought some stuff today, that they were just putting it out. Huh?

I think Kohl's has cracked down on those that hunt the retail arbitrage deals (and then mostly sell on Amazon).

I did really well on a Milly Mini's dress. I was a Saks Off 5th and they had the dresses marked way down then buy 1 item and get 2 free. I bought 3 dresses. 2 for the grand girls to wear for Christmas and the 3rd to sell. That one sell paid for all 3 and then some.

Chap sums it up pretty well:
It might help if some of these people put their ego on a leash and quit making Youtube videos and yabbering about their great scores.
I think if you're not openly advertising yourself as an eBay seller, you probably won't have a problem. Or at least I never do, and several store employees at assorted retailers locally know me and know I buy to resell. But, unlike other local sellers I know, I do NOT return what I can't sell (not that there's much that I buy that doesn't sell, TBH).
