Same here. Still cold, too. Today is our 27th anniversary and 40th year together (where did the time go?). Going on a 2 day trip to a casino I've never been to and he hasn't in over 10 years. Looking forward to getting away for a couple days.

Have fun! One of my Euclid cousins is a casino aficionado. Goes on bus trips and all that. Her boyfriend died 2 years ago so I don’t think she has been frequenting them lately.

Chewy definitely receives the Fast Shipping award.
I placed my order at 9:13 last night and just after midnight got an email that the order was on it's way and will arrive on Monday. Shipping from Dallas.

No critter last night. Fingers and paws crossed that all the holes are now plugged and they'll move to another building. Heard water running while I was fixing the coffee but it wasn't in the kitchen sink. The cats were freaking out so I followed the noise and discovered the HVAC unit in one of the bathrooms was pouring out water. I turned the unit off and put in a maintenance request. One kitty box is out on the patio to dry out, so I can clean it out. Most of the water fell into the box (no wonder the cats were freaking out LOL!). The floor is a mess. I have towels soaking everything up. I'll call the office around 4:00 if they haven't come by, since I'm not really included to turn the AC on again if it's just going to build up water and pour out again. This is the second time this has happened here, but the first time it was just a drip. It's been one thing after another with this apartment. Sunny and 79 on tap for here today. My To Do list for today includes assembling an Ikea console table and a small (not Ikea) bookcase. The Ikea table only has a few pieces and is a fairly simple design, so hopefully assembly won't be a PITA But I think I may need to fortify myself for the task first with a final cup of coffee.

Happy anniverary, stay!!! Have fun on your casino trip! I bought a really large funky multicolor metal cat planter and put some fake plants in it. Then I put it on the floor by the living room window (way too big for a table). Twila was sooooo funny checking it out. She saw it and wasn't sure what it was (what, another cat in this house? how dare she!) and crept up to it really slow. I didn't want to laugh lest I scare her. She finally made it to the planter, checked it out and decided it was no big deal. Simon waited until Twila had checked it out to check it out himself. I don't know if he was being polite or being a wuss I wonder if they'll check out the other metal cat planter when it comes in?

Another dark and dreary day. I swear it rained everyday this month so far. Goodness, we can't get enough rain lol. There was a 60% chance yesterday, and I got three rounds of light sprinkles that lasted maybe 3 minutes each. But it is sunny and in the 80s today with low humidity so I guess I can't complain. More chances for rain tomorrow and pretty much all week so we'll see. The idea of snow is crazy to me
My Forest Pansy Redbud tree is coming out of dormancy! It's been over 6 weeks since we planted it so I was getting worried that maybe it wasn't going to make it. But there's a small purple leaf coming in at the bottom, and a small green one, too. Hopefully it will continue to grow and thrive.
I want to get some more azaleas to plant and maybe some vinca. Since we lost that giant tree there's a TON of sun on that side of the house. The elephant ears are going crazy over there, I had to dig up a bunch this morning.

We had ice and sleet falling last night and the car was encased in ice when we got up. The sun came out later in the day and the temp gasped its way up to the mid-40s. It supposed to be sunny on Tuesday and hit 60 degrees! That's warm for us. Then it's back to mid-40s and rain. It's supposed to be in the 40s and light rain for the 15K race along the bay on Saturday, which is about perfect - keeps us all cool and comfortable, and this race attracts almost all locals, so we're used to the weather.
Val - your cat plantar reminds me of the time Cassie the tux first saw the DH's Kliban beach towel with a cat walking along wearing high top sneakers. He had laid it on the bed for the cats to roost on. Cassie jumped onto the bed, saw the towel and reared back, glaring at it. She then shuffled up to it and stretched out a paw and started tapping near the cat graphic, then tapped the graphic, and finally moved onto the towel, carefully avoiding the cat. Jamie, who was a loveable fur brain, just splatted herself on it like "What???" lol. Cassie was so psychological.
Congratulations, Stay! I hope you and your DH have a good time at the casino!

Yeah, a day early and a dollar short (probably more by Tuesday, lol). Good morning, everyone! We're leaving soon, be back sometime Tuesday. Still chilly 40s for highs and 20s at night, but the sun is out today. Had high winds yesterday that caused a lot of power outages as close as end of our road, but we were thankfully spared. At least it was in 40s-50s and not -30 like we had when ours went out. No buds on trees or flowers yet, but here's for springtime!

Maybe that apartment is cursed and that is why the former tenant moved.

You need to buy yourself a little dolly, Kritter, so you can haul that stuff around. Critter was back last night. There is another hole apparently. Office is closed today, so I decided to report it tomorrow, in case I hear it again tonight. This is getting ridiculous. Just call another company, 'K?

Headed out to the front yard for a full assult with the weed whacker.

Heads up if you shop Walmart and have your order shipped. *IF* it can be delivered from your local store, it will be delivered instead (not shipped) and you will be charged a driver tip. Seems like the standard default tip is $5.00. Walmart has done this on my last two orders. It's possible WM did this a couple of earlier orders but I didn't think to question it.

But you're still saving money, no? Unless shipping is usually free...then that's a bummer. But faster! And employing locals!

Driver tip is separate from any shipping cost. I don't mind paying a tip when I've selected the delivery option. It just annoys me when WM decides they'll deliver and charge me for a tip when I specficially selected shipping because I wasn't in a hurry for the item. Oh well. WM was nice enough though to invite me back to use Walmart+ at 1/2 price for a year. That's $6.50+tax/mo and no delivery fee, no matter how small the order is (free delivery normally is for $35 or more orders). Supposedly I can also get a discount on gas at their gas station, but I use a station down the street that gives me a nice discount if I get a car wash. Since I'm getting a car wash anyway, why not save on gas?

Wonder when WM decided to do that? But I knew that any order had to be $35+, if we don't have prime. I now have prime+, and it is nice that you can get it half-priced.
As for the gas discount....I tried twice to get the discount at Sam's, but my WM card wouldn't work. So I gave up.

Did anyone see the 60-minute report about eBay's case with Ina? Sure won't help eBay sales.

Did anyone see the 60-minute report about eBay's case with Ina? Sure won't help eBay sales. Old news. I don't think anybody will really care when it comes to sales. If somebody sees something they want to buy on Ebay, that mess won't kill the sale for the vast majority. JMO

I also doubt it will make any difference - it's obviously an old story with people involved already serving time. Also I think it looms a lot larger for sellers on eBay than it does for anyone else, if it looms large at all.
