In case anyone is on a low carb, reduced sodium, gluten free and/or grain free diet and is missing savory crunchy stuff, check these out: fatsnax.com/I bought the cheddar flavor yesterday. Yum! The flavor is rich enough that you're actually satisfied with the serving size. It pretty much checks the box no matter what your dietary restriction is. It's not really low sodium, but low enough for a snack unless you're on a really low sodium diet for kidney issues.

Walmart local only has the caramel apple snacks but they are out of stock. A Pro seller on Walmart charges $30.99 for 6 ounces of crackers.

I found them at HEB. You can also order online from FatSnax.

My vote for a low-carb snack is Breyer's Carb Smart ice cream in chocolate. They also have vanilla. 48 ounces for $4.97. I tried Rebel but it was grainy and a lot more expensive.

There are tons of sweet low carb snacks, but savory is hard to find IMO.

These are pretty good too: store.munkpack.com/I like the nut and seed ones better than the granola, but they're all good so far. I still have few flavors from the multi-pack I haven't tried yet. I've found them at my Walmart and HEB so far. Plus you can order from Amazon.

Those look really good, but I worry about my teeth breaking with the nuts. I do like the high-protein wafer cookie bars.
I am on some Keto & low carb Facebook groups and am amazed at how they push heavy whipping cream. It is low carb and low sugar, but very high in calories. A gal posted a cheesecake recipe yesterday that called for 4 CUPS of HWC! Holy heart attack!

Studies are showing that there are some benefits to heavy cream and it's not the bad guy older docs made it out to be: The fat in heavy whipping cream is primarily saturated fat, which was long thought to contribute to the development of heart disease.
However, current research does not always show a strong link between dairy fat intake and heart disease. Some emerging research suggests that eating saturated fat may help protect against heart disease.
However, not all researchers are in agreement about whether eating saturated fat reduces or increases the risk of heart disease.
More research is needed to further investigate the role of saturated fat in the development of heart disease.
Heavy whipping cream also contains choline and vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which play vital roles in your health.
For example, vitamin A is essential for eye health and immune function, while choline is critical to early brain development and metabolism.
Furthermore, heavy whipping cream contains calcium and phosphorus, two minerals that are necessary for healthy bones.www.healthline.com/nutrition/heavy-whipping-cream#benefits-downsides

Those look pretty good. I went overboard and ordered about 6 different kinds of tortilla and pita shells with my last order. Right now, I am eating 1/2 of a Joseph's pita for breakfast with egg, slice of sharp cheddar and one slice of turkey bacon. Pretty good.
Interesting about the whipped cream, but the calories are really high! If I was underweight (will never happen), I would gladly eat it daily.
My goal is to create a diet that is low-carb, low-sugar, low-fat, low-folic acid and high salt. That doesn't leave many options.

"The recommendation to limit dietary saturated fatty acid (SFA) intake has persisted despite mounting evidence to the contrary. There's a lot more to weight gain than calories. I don't worry at all about calories. Dietary fat is very satiating, so you won't eat an entire cheesecake. In addtion, dietary fat doesn't raise your blood sugar, which would cause your insulin level to go up, which would cause fat storage because insulin is a fat storage hormone. Keeping your blood sugar in the low normal range will help with weight. As long as the cheesecake is sugar free and without a carby crust, it's fine for an occasional treat.

I do need to watch my calories--lifetime problem. Since my insulin levels are always normal, I am not sure how everything figures in for me.
Even when I crash from too many carbs or too much sugar, my blood sugar is fine.
I am weird.

These are good if you're looking for a soft cookie texture. I've had the vanilla almond, cinamon pecan and strawberry macadamia flavors. The strawberry had a weird aftertaste I didn't care for. The other two are good, especially if you want a little snack with coffee or tea. I've found them at HEB, Whole Foods, Sprouts and Target here. good2gosnacks.com/They have some flavors on the website that I haven't seen in the stores here so I'm debating ordering from the website.

If you're missing crunchy, salty and savory, check out Catalina Crunch. The bags aren't cheap. A serving is 1/2 cup which doesn't seem like much, but it has so much fiber that it feels like you're eating more than you really are. I've had the original flavor, got mine at HEB. I know you can buy them at Vita Cost online, usually for a bit cheaper than Amazon but not always. There are other flavors too - ranch, spicy, honey mustard (limited, about to go). If you miss crunch cereal, the fruity isn't bad if you like fruity pebbles. I want to try the triple berry - more my taste. us.catalinacrunch.com/
