My friend has a $3,000 Samsung fridge that breaks down constantly.
I do have a Samsung cell phone and so far I have been okay.

Their refrigerators are notoriously bad.

Samsung makes excellent cell phones. I wouldn't touch their appliances with a 10 foot asbestos-upholstered pole.

We had a Samsung gas oven/stove combo and had issues. I would not buy a Samsung appliance. (Though I would buy a TV or electronic.)

Samsung makes great cell phones, but let's not forget Samsung also had a big problem with the Galaxy phone batteries blowing up a couple of years ago.

I kept my former phone since I seem to always save phones and never do anything with them. I had it sitting on my dresser and then noticed that the battery had expanded enough to force the case open. I had it sitting on a small trinket box and it must have just happened.
I took it to Best Buy who throws the dead phones into a container of sand. But he said that most of the phones in the sand are iPhones.
Since I was newly paranoid, I took all of my other very old cell phones for them to get rid of.

My appliance repair guy won't even work on Samsung or LG appliances.
