I printed 2 shipping labels on eBay yesterday and I noticed there were QR codes both on the label and beneath each label on the part I normally cut off when I tape the label to the package. I wondered about them cause I hadn't noticed them before. Just now I received an email from Posh announcing their QR codes for sellers that we can take to the PO and they'll print out our labels for us. Does this make sense? Isn't this going to clog up post offices even more right before the busy holiday season? Has anyone else noticed them and/or used this feature? Just curious :-)

Yes, eBay has been using them for awhile now. My sisters printer broke down and it was very convenient to just have the post office print her labels until she replaced it. Same if you run out of ink. If you live in a rural area it's not a problem. It really only takes a few seconds for them to scan and print the label. I print my own, but it's good to know the post office can do it if needed.

It's a help also to occasional sellers who have nothing but a cell phone - they don't need any setup, just either a scanner app or use the in-camera app. The label is pre-paid so the USPS just has to scan, print and stick it on the package.

Cool- good to know it's working as planned! For some reason I wasn't even thinking about the labels as being prepaid, doh :-) This will be a help to DS when he begins selling.

I use them often and if I have more than one package, I write the last few digits of the QR code on the package it will go on. Both post offices I go to, you have to hand them the package and they scan the code. They won’t print a bunch and let you step away to a table to sort them, they affix them as they are printed. I screenshot the codes so it’s more efficient to just swipe along instead of pulling up the transactions at the window.

The UPS codes really slow up the line at The UPS Stores. Ugh.
