I had a buyer purchase two pairs of Steve Madden espadrilles from me last week on Posh. I shipped them out, then yesterday I got notified of a case opened. I think I have had one before but I'm not positive. Anyways, she said the sole was coming apart from the heel and included a photo, and yes, it was but just a little bit. I just replied "I am so sorry I overlooked this. Please refund this buyer in full for this pair of shoes and let her keep the shoes, she does not need to send them back to me". I woke up this morning to a "return request denied, funds released" email. I feel kind of bad! Why would they deny her refund when I asked them to do it?

Did they release funds for both pair or just one? The notice could mean you did not want the shoes back, but it is kind of vague.
On the other hand, the buyer could have previous issues with claiming defects. I don't know if PM tracks them though.

They released the entire amount for both pair. PM really looks out for sellers. Last month I forgot to include a dustbag with the earrings a buyer had bought. I no longer had access to her address, so I wrote PM and asked for her addy. I was just going to pop it in an envelope with two stamps. They sent me a priority label and told me to be more careful.

They may have released the money for both you and your buyer.

They may have released the money for both you and your buyer. I hope that's what happened!
