Not sure if this site was discussed before...
My newspaper reported on it yesterday so I joined my local group.
Everything is free and I am amazed at what is being offered....Men's new colognes, child's new toys, a set of 50 matchbox cars.
Good thing that I don't need anything but I sent the site to my daughter who is already obsessed with selling.

im 100% sure if you get caught selling they kick you out. that said, our local group Has a boatload of "rules" and "games" and "give to get" specials.... frankly its a colossal PITA. i don't even want to get, i want to unload. make sure you thoroughly read the group rules/faqs! |

Thanks. I didn't read the very fine print. I am mostly interested in getting rid of all of these pine cones. And my daughter has a ton of stuff from picking that she doesn't know what to do with. Her trash men have not been happy with her. |

I was on our local one and it was the same 3 or 4 people who tried to claim everything. Also a lot of sob stories, asking for help because they are out of work, etc. It got tedious. Those 3 or 4 would just sit there all day and try to get everything. I ended up quitting even tho I gave a lot of stuff away.

Oh so maybe this is the one we discussed? I thought it was a different name.
My daughter is going to try to get around to taking pics of some of the kid's bikes that she has.

If the kids bikes are in good shape, why not donate them to a family shelter of some sort?

There's also Freecycle out there. Freecycle in my area seems to have fizzled out. No posts anymore. |
