Went and dropped off some packages today and normally I just drop them in the blue mailbox as I've never had an issue but today I had a bigger one that I was going to put down the chute. There was a sign that mentioned that the automated kiosks will now do acceptance scans. So, I tried it out and sure enough, I was able to scan all my packages and it printed out a receipt with all the packages that were scanned. It took about 2 minutes. The only downside is you have to keep hitting 'scan, answer a questions about contents, and accept' on one other screen every time, but it keeps track of everything until you say you're done.
No waiting in line and no fuss from the counter people. So, you all might want to check it out.

We only have one post office of the several I use that have that, and it's the most inconvenient. I hope at least one other gets it because it's a nice feature.

I'm just a few months ahead of you, that's all I think it's funny, that since we're both tech ppl, we both had the same annoyance with the software design. That whole part is redundant, since you had to answer when you created the label.

That whole part is redundant, since you had to answer when you created the label. Goes to show how often I go inside, too. Normally, everything fits in the drop boxes. If I have something bigger, I leave it on our outgoing at work. Since I was out and about with my daughter, figured I'd drop everything off today. By the way, Isabella got a job! She starts at Big Lots on Monday. She's super excited, yet nervous, but she's really doing well. Her roomie is only charging her $500 a month for everything, so she will have roughly $400 a month after her rent to spend on all the weird stuff she buys LOL

I'm sure it will be great for her. Challenges, no doubt, but that's what those years are for...learning how to live on your own & learning life's lessons. Lucky you are close to help her out if necessary.
