I ended 8 listings this morning so I could tweak them a bit before re-listing later tonight. On 4 of them I noticed this message from Ebay:
eBay note:This listing was ended because there were no recent sales. Please improve your listing before you relist it.
I ended these listings, but does this mean that Ebay will start ending a listing for under performing???

I have seen this posted on the Facebook groups in the last few days.
It seems to only be happening if you end a listing to relist it, maybe?

It was only on the ones I ended myself. I just hope this is not a hint at what is to come.

I remember eBay warning us about this last year...that they would remove old listings. I don't know if they are doing this to me or not since they have been dropping some of my listed items for over 16 years. So I can't tell the difference. But mine just disappear.

eBay has been saying that they would do it for at least 7 years now. They started when I worked at the stamp shop. We would get yellow notices that the item had been listed for 16 months and would be ended if we didn't make changes (something to that effect).

i had it too the other day with manually ended listings--it was pretty weird. it wasn't all of them--and they were all started at the same time so it didn't seem like time was the reason.
i honestly pray they aren't going to start randomly ending stuff...I'm having a hard time keeping track of things without help from them!
i just ended 21 listing right now and that message isn't there today.
still.
Le sigh

The msg may be new, but the fact that they can do this, is YEARS old.
