When I send out offers, I periodically find, usually months after the fact, that the potential buyer has sent a msg within the offers, as a response to my offer. I have one of those now that the buyer just responded to & I would do what she's asking.
BUT, I've never seen a way to easily see these or respond to them. Anyone know of a way? It seems like a glaring hole in the system that you can't communicate once they've replied to you in offers. Actually, there's a lot of glaring holes, like no easy way to see at a glance, all that have been declined or to even KNOW that someone wrote you a message in them.
Is there some screen I'm missing, that would show them or allow you to answer the prospect? I go in from SH.

If anyone has ever sent me a message, I have not seen it.

I've never noticed this before and never thought to look for a message response there. I don't allow counter-offers when I send out my offers, so I guess I figured it wasn't even an option for them to respond.
Does it show their user ID? I suppose it probably doesn't, otherwise you could just message them direct. Sorry, I'm no help, but now I know I need to check for messages!!

If it's a fairly recent listing that has expired or if others have been sent offers on that item since she got hers and let it expire--under Manage Active Listings look for the Offers Sent bubble, click on it and you can see the current offers and also the ones that expired for that item. I've had to check that to see what kind of offer I gave someone that they let expire. Unless I didn't understand your question...

I don't allow counteroffers either, but yes they must allow messages b/c I get them all the time. Unfortunately, b/c there's no easy way to look at all the offers I've sent at once, I don't usually see the messages until months later LOL. There is a userid, but it's masked, so you can't tell what it really is, same as when you send the offer. I only see them when I look at 'Review Offers Sent', which I don't do often, that's where I find the messages. This one I happened to see right away & wouldn't mind taking her offer. It's frustrating just from a customer service standpoint, as ppl think they're sending you a message & I can't find any way to respond. They often are not offers, just ppl thanking me for the offer but telling me why they aren't buying (usually a sizing issue), not that I would respond to those, but I'd like the option. It also tells you if the offer was declined or expired, if you care. Let me ask the question another way, have any of you ever found a place to view all your offers sent at once? Rather than individually? And Jeremy Pantlandia I'm not sure what good checking does, if you can't respond LOL.

I do know about that & use those, but to see any messages or any more detail, you'd have to look at each item individually in there. I'm looking for somewhere it would show you the detail if someone has sent a message or if it's been declined/expired & that isn't shown there w/o going into the item. IDK, maybe that makes sense that you'd have to go into each item. I just wish it would somehow flag me that there are messages, but since it doesn't let you answer anyway (at least that I can find), I'm not sure it matters. It's just annoying that prospects are asking me questions & I have no easy way to know it or respond.
