They seem to be going backwards. I just worked through the new listing 'experience' and it's pretty rough and very inefficient. I wonder if they have anyone who is used to actual forms design rather than just coding them? There's a real art to it (I used to design forms) and it has to be views from the user standpoint, which they rarely seem to do. Since most of eBay's new apps start pretty rough, I've tried this one, submitted my experience and will go back to classic view until they figure it out. I had to do this with the seller hub. Also the shipping page, only in my case because they hadn't even added the shipping options I used. After they finally got them into a usable state, I quite like them.

I posted & asked & they actually had a good answer that makes sense. Woulda been nice if they'd said this, but here it is (from a 'pink'):
<< Today, Sellers can open a UPI case on Day 2 and we give buyers 4 days to pay. If there is no payment, sellers can close that case starting on Day 6. The new cancel flow will allow sellers to cancel the order on Day 5, one day quicker than today. >>

They don't look at anything from a user perspective. Between that & the lousy offshore programming, we're doomed. That said, I am hopeful that CSA will now get the 10K free listings b/c I have to pay over my allotment every month & it would be ideal if I could have everything listed, all the time.

They need to read the book 'The Psychology of Everyday Things'. It is a pretty good book that looks at how the design of things affects production. When I worked in call centers, I used to hate it when they would send out program updates and move buttons around on the programs. When you used to click in a certain area on every call and the move that button, you tend to slow down because you have to find where the button is again.
I put info on spreadsheets and the flow of what I input has to align with the flow of what I'm doing, especially clothing and measurements.

They aren't changing what is in the 10k free listings, but stores are getting a huge boost in the store listings. I believe Premium stores are getting 10k (up from 1k) listings in all categories now and basic stores are getting 1000 listings (up from 350).

You can open a NPB case after 2 days, but it stays open for another 4 days before it can be closed. During those 4 days, the buyer can still pay. I think this way will be better, to be honest, because once you start the process after 2 days, they get a notice that it was opened and they can wait and pay on day 6. This way there is no notice to remind them, on day 5 you just simply cancel it and it's done. At least that's my take.

I found a statement from a pink saying it will apply to all categories. In the past I had the 10K, but couldn't really use them b/c CSA was exempted. CSA will not be exempted with this announcement. IDK, maybe I'm confused & you're right that only the quantity is affected, but either way, the good news is that I'll have 10K that CAN be used in CSA

Works out for me. I am downgrading my store from premium to basic May 1, and I would have had to pay a bit over the basic allotment until I clear out some things, but now I will be covered under the basic store. Unless I missed that the store subscription rates are changing, I will be better off.
