Putting this here too b/c it is related to clothing & some may want to boycott if you don't know this, copy/paste below.
Wowza, do you guys know about Peter Nygard? He was the Jeffrey Epstein of the Bahamas. Yes, that Peter Nygard. I had no idea, but I stumbled across this interesting Podcast today put out by the CBC called Evil By Design. Really enjoying it so far, if that's the right word. It's well done & fascinating.
Obviously trigger warnings apply for rape, sexual assault & possibly DV.

His clothing has a lousy sell-through, too. At least for me.

His plus size stuff is great. He's one of the few designers who would actually use colors and prints for plus ladies. No boring black and brown for him! It would have sold better, however, if he'd used true plus size measurements and not just add a few inches to the misses patterns. *sigh* When will designers figure out that plus needs a completely different cut and pattern?

It was fascinating, it's not done, IDK how many more episodes there are. I had no idea Nygard was Tanjay. Tanjay certainly created plus sizes in the correct sizes, so IDK why Nygard never did. Prolly cuz Nygard clothes were s'posed to be cooler/hipper, which they were, but they are still pretty cheesy & tacky for the most part. Lots of shiny cheap fabrics.
I agree that their plus sizes run small, but the only ones with color? Almost all of my plus size clothes have been in bright colors & prints, for many years. Even in the 70's before they were called plus sizes, my mom was always in colors/prints. Nygard did do colors better than other brand's plus sizes, in that they weren't just your typical oversize floral, most of them were more abstract or modern.
Honestly, I've sold some nice Tanjay pieces, I was very surprised to learn that Nygard & Tanjay were one.

I am a podcast junkie and I’ll check that one out too. I recently sold an awful plus size Nygard. It was a sheer blouse that ties at the waist, but sold in a week. www.ebay.com/itm/254832260522

That print is very reminiscent of several RL prints, so not surprised it sold quickly :-)

What's so "awful" about that? The print and colors are gorgeous IMO. The cut isn't bad on the right body shape - the tie hits below waist to hips depending on if the wearer is long or short waisted.
