Just got this email from Poshmark:
Dear Sunsetpainter,
As you may already know, USPS recently announced an increase in their shipping rates. In order to adapt to this change, we have made an adjustment to our shipping rate. Effective tomorrow, February 4, 2021, Poshmark flat rate shipping will be $7.45. Poshmarkâs simple and unique shipping system, PoshPost, allows for items up to 5 pounds to be shipped at a flat rate via USPS Priority Mail with 1-3 day shipping.
We always strive to negotiate the best rate for our community. PoshPost continues to deliver one of the fastest shipping speeds and lowest prices in the industry and is exclusively available to the Poshmark community.
Sincerely,
Team Posh

I knew this was coming down the pike, and am grateful it didn't go up over $8 - the .34 rise isn't too bad. I sell a lot on Posh but between rising postal rates and the site possibly filing for IPO (mostly the latter), I'm wondering how long that will last. I can see Posh allowing the Ali-Express Chinese sellers to flood the site, forcing returns for fit, etc., and it will be no better than eBay.

Even FBMP rates went up as of today. But from Feb 4-7 they are having free shipping on clothing and jewelry priced $15 and up.
