This is just a cheaply made boutique brand vest, but I loved it so I picked it up. Now I'm stuck for keywords to get anyone to see it. It's a wide A-line. I first thought batik for the coloration but I know that's not right. Any ideas? TIA!

I can't see the detail in the pic--is it tie dyed or are those darker parts just shadows? You can at least use color block and tunic vest.

The green and blue panels I could definitely use color block for, but the green has darker areas through it like Frakin said. It looks almost dip dyed and tie dyed.

I agree it looks like batik lines, but without an actual floral or other print in combination with it. Tie dye print might also work

It looks tie dyed to me, but I can't see it well enough to say for sure. I would def not call that color block though. Color block is geometric. It actually could be batik too, batik just refers to the wax resist process. Can you post a pic with better lighting?

'Scuse the mess. And lighting is something I battle with. This is as good as I could get but at least you can see the coloration.

I go with being vague and just call that 'variegated' because I can't think of anything else that quite fits.

I would go with tie dye; I think it's closest to that. Does not look to be batik.
