And my poor buyer from Dec 4 is still waiting for her book. I guess, since she bought a religious-type book, she is inclined to be more forgiving. Or not.

I'm still waiting on my MasterCard statement I should have gotten at least 2 weeks ago. At this point, if/when it arrives and there's a late fee added, I'll make the dreaded call to Citibank and point out my excellent payment history and hopefully get it waived. It took almost 5 weeks to get my license plate sticker. Looks like packages are shaking loose, but regular mail is still crawling.

And my poor buyer from Dec 4 is still waiting for her book. I guess, since she bought a religious-type book, she is inclined to be more forgiving. Or not. What is the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian? Christ. A Christian recognizes and acknowledges their sin and accepts the sacrifice Jesus made on their behalf. We are not sinless when we are saved, and we are not sinless after, but we are forgiven for those sins. 1 John 1:8-9 says "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is a day by day, sometimes a minute by minute choice to follow Christ and strive for righteousness, but we will always fall terribly short of the glory of God. Yes, many "Christians" give Christianity a bad name. The critical thing to recognize is that they are not Christ. Please don't make a decision to reject Christ because you know a Christian who is "a hypocrite". Stepping off of my soapbox...

Or not. I have written to her about 4 times and she keeps telling me not to worry since she is patient. Looks like she will be. There was no mention of *which* religion this book might be. Heck, may be the Church of the Subgenius (whereupon she will do the right thing and gave you Slack).

A d!pshit opened a case on my little id for a $45 item that was mailed on 12/22 and has been stuck in Greensboro NC since 12/29. I mailed a package that has been stuck in Greensboro, NC since December 24.

Just got a notice from Poshmark that a package that has been "stuck" since Dec 12 has now reached it's destination facility today!! I had tried to contact Poshmark about it but kept getting canned answers, both on the site and their FB page. Gave up trying to contact them and figured I'd just let it ride.

My package that was sent 12/12 and had been in Indianpolis since 12/23 finally made it to MO yesterday! It is a somewhat fragile item. I'm worried about the condition of a package that has been in the postal system for almost a month. I sent a message to the buyer and told him if it is damaged to take pictures of item and box and save the box. I still have one from 12/4 that is missing but I've already paid that buyer. I have several others mailed in late December that I'm starting to worry about.

I just opened 2 more USPS searches on stuff that was mailed Priority AFTER 1/1 & hasn't seemingly moved at all. I'm sure it's moved, but as received no scans beyond Picked Up. Thank gawd I always get an Acceptance scan or even most of my post 1/1 pkgs would look like I'd never mailed them.

I would not put a package in the mail unless it was scanned at Acceptance.

The rescue organization used media mail for the calendars. Not that I blame them and not that this is the reason it took so long to arrive. But talking about going to the bottom of the pile🤣

My $150 item was delivered today and it is undamaged. whew! Buyer sent me a nice message, he said the item was worth the wait. It was a vintage Christmas light. A few of my other stragglers have been delivered too. I still have one that hasn't been scanned since 12/4.
I just found out you can scan prepaid packages at the self service thing in the lobby of the post office. The clerk told me it will print a receipt too. I haven't tried it and don't know if I will. If a package is insured and it gets lost how do they even know you put it in the bin? It seems like big scam potential.

Has anyone tried scanning a package that way? It would be great if it works.

I don't think you can unless you purchase the postage at said machine. But that may have changed, I agree it would be great if it works, but they've been advertising scanning for a long time on those machines & when I last checked (at least a year ago, maybe more) I was told you had to buy the postage on the machine.

But that may have changed, I agree it would be great if it works, but they've been advertising scanning for a long time on those machines & when I last checked (at least a year ago, maybe more) I was told you had to buy the postage on the machine. I looked at it after she told me and there is an option to scan prepaid labels. She said it was new. But I don't really know and most of the people are pretty clueless. I swear I get one problem solved and create another for myself. I mailed something to the wrong person today. I sold something last night to a guy and printed the label this morning. He bought something else today before I had shipped the first item. I voided the first label and printed a new label so I could ship both together. Peeled the old label off and stuck the new one on. I got home tonight and noticed a box sitting next to my desk. It was this guys stuff. I look at the label and I realize its not the new label I printed. I look at the label I had peeled off and realize I peeled the label off the wrong box. So tomorrow I'm sending the stuff I failed to mail today and sticking a label in the box so they can forward the wrong box to the correct person. I hate having to send those messages. I hope he doesn't open the wrong box when it arrives because this guy wanted to buy the item in it. He offered me double what I had already sold it for. I did offer to refund the guy whose item is enroute to the wrong address but I have a feeling he's going to want the item too. I swear I don't know what is wrong with me sometimes.

Depending on when you shipped it, it could still be at the PO. I would try calling the very first thing. It used to be they cleared out the PO each night but I don’t think it is the case anymore, especially now.

I got an em yesterday that I friend I sent a Xmas card to rec'd it on 1/13. I mailed it on 12/24. Just a card, not a package!
I also have a bunch of pkgs that I mailed on the 2-5th which all have pickup scans on the appropriate day & then the next scan is 1/13 & is the sort center scan in Denver, which is the first place they go :-( So they sat either here or in Denver for 10 days & all of these were mailed AFTER the new year. It's affected 6 or 7 of my pkgs. Ughhh. I thought there would be some improvement in the new year.

Oh great & I just rec'd a survey from USPS on a case I opened for a Priority pkg. It was closed, but no one ever contacted me & the pkg has not moved at all. So now they're just ignoring cases!
