It just gets better and better on eBay. www.ecommercebytes.com/cab/abn/y15/m04/i09/s01From the article: "Did you know that eBay now shows buyers the amount of the handling charge that a seller charges," asked a reader this week. "This really is not something that a buyer (or other sellers) needs to know! They just need the products retail price and a shipping rate."
When we asked for more information, the seller wrote, "On the mobile app and PC versions of the website the handling cost does not appear separately, it is just part of the shipping rate. On the mobile version (m.ebay.com), they are now disclosing the handling charge if you click on the "Shipping, Returns and Payments" area of the listing."

Well, I don't like it, but thank you for the info. It directly contradicts what Ebay says in it's own help pages.
Great. Just great. One more thing for them to f up.

Icky ebay!
I build my handling charge into my flat rate shipping charge.

Zoe, eCommercebytes even quoted that part of eBay listing process in the article! And of course, eBay has no comment yet.
Glad I use flat rate.

If this sticks, I may have to switch to flat rate.
