There are a couple of different places to get a packing slip. The one that I print still has my custom message. I use the one from the bulk shipping section.
But, yes, the one that you print from the postage screen has changed. I never use that one.

I use the PayPal packing slip. I never really liked the eBay slip.

I don't get why on earth they waste their time changing stuff that doesn't need to be changed. This is the packing slip I use. Although I always hand write my messages, so that doesn't bother me too much, but it simply didn't need changing!
What I find super annoying is that I just chose one of their drop down selections & although it looks ok in the drop down, it prints in quotes! Why on earth would it print in quotes? It looks STUPID.

Seems like an incredible waste of time and resources to change things like the packing slip. Not to mention, their programmers are not the smartest or most talented. It reminds me of the roads here in Portland. I literally just spend $2k (this week!) getting my car fixed from hitting a pothole on a fairly well traveled street. Yes, it was that bad, destroyed my strut and control arm. Yet, instead of fixing the roads that need it, they repave streets that were just paved a couple years ago and built areas where they can plant flowers. Meanwhile, driving down the busiest street in the city is like driving on a cobblestone road from medieval times.

Their new packing slip totally SUCKS! I always included it because it had the buyer's name and address in case something happened to the outside label. Not putting that new one in at all. And the PP shipping label prints in landscape format on my computer while everything else prints in portrait format. I'm NOT changing back and forth for that.

I print the packing slip from PP at 90% (portrait), then print the shipping label from eBay (landscape, auto-default) on the bottom of the packing slip page, also at 90%. Less chance for me to mess up an order. I like the way the PP packing slip looks. I don't care for the eBay packing slip.

I just printed two labels for packages that have been paid for. Today the packing slips did not include the buyer's name and address or the shipper's name and address.
One of the main reasons I use packing slips is to match the item to the mailing label in order to avoid mixups. Another reason is in case anything happens to the outer packaging or mailing label. Now that they've removed the buyer's name and address and the shipper's name and address, the packing slip is useless.
And the canned messages (with exclamation points!) in quotes are childish.

If I ever get another sale on eBay I'll be able to see these new and unimproved packing slips - they will do me no good without the address.

Mine have all printed with the address. BUT, the state of has not printed on any of them. Though USA does. Good thing to know it's going to the USA

Mine are unchanged, but I might be the only one who prints them from the bulk order/printing page. From the Awaiting Shipment page in Seller Hub, check the boxes of the orders that needs packing slips. From the shipping dropdown, select Print Shipping Labels or Invoices Under the Invoice and Address Labels header, select Invoice / Packing Slip and hit Continue> It will pop up a window for the packing slips. You can customize them from the same page you print them from. To the right of the Continue> button, there is a link to Edit Invoice and Address Labels. From there you can add messages and add/remove anything else you want. It works well for me because I often times use the Bulk Shipping from the same page, so it's just an even flow (yay! Pearl Jam reference) for me. Just thought I'd post it as an alternative for those who might want one.
