I tried your 24 hour sale idea, Denise, and I got my first sale from it a few minutes ago. Still have 12 hours left on the sale so fingers crossed! Thanks for the advice, Denise!

I wrote myself a note because I forgot this evening. Sieve-head, that's me. Tomorrow there's a 'pop-up' virtual marathon lol - no notice, I was looking for some miles and just happened to ask my running friend - turns out he's doing the Cleveland Marathon virtually tomorrow, so I'll help him out for a lap or so and bring the beer (he brings chips) for our personal 'beer garden' afterwards. We had a great time last week doing a virtual half marathon. This is a brutal way to get into shape, though - he can run for hours and talk the entire time - I just puff along.

MY question is, why do I always have the irresistible urge to fart when I'm in an elevator or in line?

chapeaunoir, you can create the sale anytime and schedule it to start and end when you want it to.

I wrote myself a note because I forgot this evening. Sieve-head, that's me. I forgot too! I am starting one now, hopefully it will help, I had all of two sales this last week
It is raining sheets here and poor Janey is hiding under my desk. We do need the rain though. Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty bad. I was hoping to make it to Aldi's to get vegs for the air fryer (it's out for delivery!) but I guess we'll have to see. The virus protections we take are a pain, and the last thing we need to do is be out in street flooding.

Next up: The plague of locusts. somany - I wanted to start it in the evening as Denise does, but I guess it doesn't really matter. I met my friend for the last 10 1/2 miles of his marathon and actually made it to the end without my legs collapsing under me, so I guess I'm getting fitter. We had our beers and sat for a while chatting on the park bench - this is the last day before the rain comes back in so it was great to be out!

I always make them to "start now", and to end the next day at 4:30 PST time, which is my 7:30 EST time. So that gives me time to get stuffed packed up. I made 6 sales today! 4 eBay, 1 Posh and 1 Tradesy!! Love those Tradesy ones. Amazing how they will pay much more for the item, than I had it listed for on my other sites.

denise15601 - do you think it's still worthwhile to list there, then? I had stopped. What's your name over there so I can check it out?

What's your name over there so I can check it out? www.tradesy.com/closet/auniqueboutique/I maybe make 1 or 2 sales a month. But it is so easy to just throw something on there when I am listing on the other sites. The dress that I sold today, was one of my first listed ones and I had chosen their label. Had to figure out how to print it and it is huge. But it worked okay. It was an Alice and Olivia dress that I had gotten for free from TheRealReal site. TRR sends me a free coupon every 3-4 months or so, so I get free stuff and list it.

I just had the experience of ultimate customer service. I ordered some cat flea stuff from Petbucket, a company based in England.
A couple of hours later I received a video email. The speaking video had a Customer Service young lady introducing herself to me by my name and thanking me for my order which was on it's way. She said if I had any issues I could contact her in 3 different ways which she then elaborated on. Signed off with "Have a safe and happy weekend".
That was a first for me.

It was really cute. She looks to be in 20s and is standing outside with sun shining and trees blowing around in the background. Had a slight British accent
This was the first time I ordered from them and after I ordered, I didn't get that usual confirmation email with order number etc. and I kinda thought "Uh Oh". I left to scout out some kittens that we are going to try and trap next week and when I came back home, the email was there.
Watching it made me smile. I am easily entertained these days. Well, truth be told, I am easily entertained most days pandemic or not.

How do you get a free coupon?? Someone wrote about it on here a couple of years ago. Just join up, and they immediately send you a free $30 off coupon on anything. Then I go to the 70% off Clearance section and order something. You can use the $30 towards the shipping, too. Once in a while I go to their site to check for prices, etc. And about every 3-4 months or so, they send me another free coupon for $20-$30. I have never sent anything in for consignment...I just order the free stuff. Of course they do send me emails urging me to buy an LV purse or something...LOL. As if.

Oooo! Something new to try! I'm going to give it a go starting tomorrow. For how long do you run it? Like every 24 hours or?? Every 24 hours. I think that is the minimum. It gives the buyer a sense of urgency to buy seeing that the sale will go off in less than 24 hours. I finally remembered to do this yesterday, and had a sale!! Thank you

So glad that it is working for others! And I don't require a "finder's fee"!
