When I try to search on the title, I am getting 0 results. I'm using Seller Hub page where you can select "Item Title" and "Contains" and then fill in whatever word you want to search on. I typed in UGG and nothing came up even though I have at least 3 pairs of sandals for sale. I tried a couple more that I know I have and still nothing. Just wanting to see if anyone else is having this problem. It could be my computer acting up again as I am having other (different than before) issues.
The current problems are different than the freezing up it was doing last week (BTW, the computer has 16 GB of RAM). It stopped doing the freezing up thing, but now it's doing things like not allowing me to use drop downs, not allowing me to scroll down on a vertical scroll bar, reducing the size of my spreadsheet in Excel when the only thing I touch is the Control key (especially irritating because I use so many of the shortcuts, especially Ctrl C and Ctrl V). My sister is researching new computer possibilities for me now (she likes doing that kind of thing and I don't). I just hate to invest in one for the little amount of time I am going to be doing this, but I still need the picture editing capability, and I doubt that I can get that on a Chromebook, which is what I'd like to use in the future, I think.
I've done a full virus scan and nothing shows up, and I've run the Cclean and malware things also, and everything looks good.

Tried mine, it worked. What browser are you using? I tried in Chrome, but not all browsers act the same.
Are you on a laptop or desktop?

Laptop and chrome. I tried it in Edge, too, and I don't have the problem there. It's so weird that the problems I'm seeing are in different applications. I don't have that problem in Edge but I do have a problem in that the news headlines are there and if I move my mouse over one of them to read it, they start scrolling so fast I can't click on the right one.
My pictures are a mess, too. I use Snipping Tool quite a bit, and when I go to use it, the pictures start scrolling and I can't "catch" the one I want to snip. (I used it to create a square picture so I can list something on Poshmark. I don't have to do that for new pictures, just for the oldies from ebay that I'm finally getting around to posting on PM.)
Since my problem went away last time I posted about it, maybe that will happen this time haha. I am going to have to either call Geek Squad or bite the bullet and spend the money to get a new computer. Bleh.

The scrolling problem sounds like it's your mouse, not your computer itself. Try cleaning the mouse, make sure it has the updated driver and test the USB port. If you have a wireless mouse, it could be the batteries.

I had installed new batteries and cleaned it. I also changed the USB port it the wireless thing was in. Don't know how to update the driver but while I was hunting around under Mouse for it, a slide for "select pointer speed" moved to slow, without me touching it, and now the mouse hardly moves at all. Thankfully I have a touch screen, but it's not working to position the mouse. I have to use the arrow keys now. My sister says maybe try a restore since there are so many issues. It started on Sunday when I logged into Zoom to see the church service. The volume slide would not stay up, it kept moving down to mute. I had to switch to Facebook to be able to hear anything.
Ugh, I am not cut out for this!

I would do the restore - something may have got reset using Zoom and triggered a setting change.

Tried to restore to 3/27, and it failed. Only more recent dates are available so trying 4/5 now, and it’s taking much longer than the first one. Hopefully that’s a good sign but I’m very nervous.

I have found that function to be glitchy, not really glitchy, but not well programmed, as it regularly doesn't bring up certain things, as it's an odd search that they are using. I would try some other searches & if those work fine, I'd chalk it up to UGG just being one of those things that doesn't search well.
I'm not having a problem with it, except the regular problems I have with it. Also, I see they put in an update b/c as of today, I have a dropdown that I can choose my most recent searches & that's never been there before.
Are you sure you don't have CAPS LOCK on? The weird stuff you're describing sounds like you may just accidentally have CAPS LOCK on.

That function is glitchy for me, too - I was just using it, and it didn't work for category search, so I had to use general search. It's intermittent.

Be sure your touchscreen is clean. You can go into your settings to change the cursor speed back.

Be sure your touchscreen is clean. You can go into your settings to change the cursor speed back. That’s one of the issues—I try to change it but something is “forcing” it back the other way. It won’t take the change. It was happening with the volume, and it happens sometimes when I need to page down to see more work, like my folders that I keep my pictures stored in. I had to start pinning the ones I needed so they would stay on the first screen and/or scroll bar. The second restore still has not completed. It got to the shut down but has not come back on yet. My sister says be patient, but I don’t understand how it could be doing anything when it’s powered down.

You said laptop, does it have a touchpad under the keyboard? There is something that is continually scrolling things. There should be a setting to disable the touchpad. It's usually one of the Function F-Keys (hold down the FN button in the lower row and find the F-key with a picture of the touchpad on it). If you use a mouse, you don't need the touch pad on.

I do notice that if I'm searching the custom field that capitalization is important even with the "contains" option. We all seem to have different Hub experiences so maybe yours is case sensitive?

Well, my computer is toast. None of the dates available to restore would complete. I either got a message that something was wrong so pick another date or it went through the process until it shut down but then never started back up. When I started it, it would diagnose and give me options, but we tried all the options and got nowhere. My daughter was helping me, and we got all my files off onto an external drive but that was the best we could do. I may have Geek Squad give it a shot when they are open again for repairs, but I will be shopping for a new computer. It gives me a QR code so Geek Squad might be able to work with that but the info that came up when I used it didn’t help us at all. I guess I would like to know what exactly went wrong—kind of like an autopsy, I guess.

How interesting Kat, mine is NOT case sensitive. Never has been. But they are obviously changing things, with the new prefill drop downs, which I hate & aren't working the way I would expect it to be coded. I never search for the same thing in a row & quit trying to make a PC act like a phone!

The only field where it’s case sensitive is the custom field which is a pain since I usually fill it in on my phone and never cared if it was an a or A but doing inventory recently it drove me nuts.

The only field where it’s case sensitive is the custom field which is a pain since I usually fill it in on my phone and never cared if it was an a or A but doing inventory recently it drove me nuts. Maybe we're talking about different things, I don't have a Custom Field. BTW, I got your note & will get back to you soon. But to Somany's initial problem (this time), there is also just ebay glitches outside of the problems with that screen. I am doing a search for ralph in item title, right now, for ralph lauren, of which I have at least 1/2 dozen listed, probably more & it keeps coming up at 0. Worked fine yesterday. Now, 2 minutes later, it's working & I have 9. The other thing that drives me crazy on that screen is that you have to fill the field AFTER your items load or it won't work. Actually, that could be your problem - maybe you never realized that. That drives me nuts, but it's ALWAYS been that way. It won't run the search if you don't let the listings completely load first & when that happens, you CANNOT just click SEARCH again, you MUST re-type the parameter again. STUPID! Since I have a slow PC, this happens to me many times/day. But with your fast system, it's possible you never noticed that. I don't think you need a new computer Somany, yours is brand new practically, mine is around 12+ years old & still very functional, slow but functional & I even run TL. You just need to make friends w/someone who knows their way around computers or maybe take a class at the library. I guarantee your problem before this one, the same problem from a year ago too, will be back b/c you haven't resolved it & it clearly has to do with resources. It has simply temporarily gone away, it will be back.

ETA: Also, besides classes, our library has a free - work with a techie, 1/2 hour session, which you can bring any devices to, to get help with. I found it when I was looking to see if they had a class for learning Android O/S. So check out what your lib has, as it's free.

My philosophy on computers is the same as it has always been for cars—I just want to get in the and have it go, and I just want to sit down to the computer and have it work. No desire to know how they work. When I worked in Corporate America, I was great with the systems we used, but that’s a whole different ball game. I worked with the IT guys a lot to enhance the functionality of the programs, both before we implemented an enterprise system and during and after, but what they had to do to get it to work just didn’t interest me. I could sit down with them and say I need the program to do this, this, and this, and they magically made it happen. It actually worked out extremely well on both sides. Of the 3 main IT guys I worked with, the one liked to lord it over me, but the other two knew I contributed a great deal to the success of our systems, especially the huge task of implementing the enterprise system. After our company changed ownership and accounting moved out of state, my next two jobs came about because of the knowledge of the system that I had.

Well, I still think it's a good idea to have your system checked and reset before having to buy something else, particularly since you really don't want to reinvest. It sounds like the problem started with a Zoom meeting, but sometimes that's just coincidence. Did you guys try just resetting it to factory settings? Sounds like you've got your files backed up.

I'm not saying you should learn how your computer works, but you have to know how to use it effectively & manage the resources of your computer. You're ready to buy a new one, when I'm 99.9% sure there's nothing wrong with your current one, you're just not managing the resources well. In the work scenario you described, you had a team of support, now you don't. It's not realistic to expect that you don't have to know how to use it properly.
If you have 10G of storage & try to put 12G of photos in it - you can't exceed it's capabilities & have it work, just like you can't put 2 gallons of water into a 1 gallon jar. But hey, it's your money, if you wanna buy a new one constantly, that's up to you.

Well, somany is kind of stuck right now with no working system and just her phone, so it's stressful, and now system restore won't work. I'm wondering if booting the system into safe mode will do the trick - safe mode just boots up certain files instead of the entire system. If you haven't tried that yet, it's worth a go - I can give instructions. It's just a step by step process. If you have tried it and just nothing works, again I think Geek Squad is a good next step. It sounds like you and your daughter have done quite a bit of troubleshooting already. And yeah, this is very frustrating - I've been through it myself (I had disintegrating graphics on one of my computers once and it seemed to take forever to figure out what was wrong with it - it was unusable).
