Welcome to Tuesday, Virtual Sellers! Tuesday is named for Tiw or Týr, the Norse god of combat, victory and heroic glory (his Roman equivalent is Mars). And how fitting, since selling on eBay often feels like war. Every day we're challenged by underhanded buyers, unfair policies, and uncertain delivery dates. Yet we persevere, and are frequently victorious. So today, as you don your "seller's armor", take a moment to look in the mirror and admire yourself - no matter how many dings, dents, or defects you see, be proud of what you've accomplished. You are a warrior! Other fun facts about Tuesday: What are your plans for today?

Those are some interesting fact about Tuesday today I'm going to hit a few stores and it's my dad's birthday so we're going to a rib place to celebrate tonight.

Got to break the dull routine today and went to lunch with my Mom and DS. My Mom just retired and lives close by, so I am really enjoying the extra time with her. DS is getting married next weekend and then moving almost 2 hours away. I am taking every opportunity I have to spend time with him before he goes. So, my day has been FANTASTIC so far!

I never knew all that about Tuesday. Thank you, I love to learn new things.
I was planning to go to the mall and look for a dress to wear at a lunch meeting with friends tomorrow, but I changed my mind. I don't think I can handle retail prices anymore. So I asked my dh to take me on a shopping spree at the Salvation Army, lol. No Ebay shopping this time, only for ME. But, that's usually when I find all the good, sellable stuff.

My friend called from the foodbank to ask where I was....I had completely forgotten!!! AND my BC support group that I run! TG she called me-rushed to the foodbank, and now getting ready for the group. Sometimes I worry about myself.....

DH and I worked out in the yard some today. Removed the old rose bushes that didn't make it through the winter plus a couple that did but aren't good bloomers anymore. That leaves about 20, I've been tempted to take them all out since the Japanese beetles have been so horrid the last few years, can't get a pretty blooming season anymore, no matter how many times you spray them or remove the bugs by hand. They come by the thousands.
Had a guy come out today and brush hog the back 2 acres so we can start getting it cleaned up and turned into useable property. Too windy to burn brush so will do some tomorrow if the wind settles down. Lost a few hours today to a massive migraine so didnt' get as much done as I wanted but the corner pot and land looks better so no complaints.
Need to go in and get some stuff listed, I haven't listed in ages.

Was a gorgeous day here and I was stuck inside most of it doing the pre-registration for my upcoming surgery. They make you sign so dang many forms now that it is insane. Between government regulations and stupid lawsuits they have to cover every possible contingency, although they did fail to cover what happens if Martians invade the Earth while the surgery is happening. After reading and signing all that crap it amazes me that anyone goes thru with any surgeries, especially after you read 'the list' with all the possible things that can go wrong. Got home, had a bowl of Salted Caramel ice cream and just sat in the garden for awhile watching the hummers and enjoying the flowers so I am now in a much better mood.

I listed a couple of pairs of shoes, a handbag, and a Traveler knit tunic.
Why do I keep buying the acetate stuff?

They forgot the zombies too Kritter, surprising since it is a hospital and there are probably a few around there someplace. But I do have a good luck stuffed kitty I take with me so I should be safe from zombies. I just want to get this over with so I can start healing and be ready for a CCL road trip.

We will be keeping you in our thoughts here in south Texas, Shirley.
I can only imagine what a relief it will be to get it done.
