I had several auctions end. I used calculated shipping on them, and did not opt to have the discount passed on to the buyer. So the buyer should have been charged regular retail rate, correct? Because they weren't, eBay charged them my discounted rate.
ETA: Anyone who uses calculated shipping, check your shipping preferences. It looks like eBay may have reset them to "offer carrier specific discounts to buyers".
I have NEVER allowed the discount to be passed on to the buyer, but my preferences are showing that I do. I just changed it. That explains why the calculated shipping on my auctions was for exact cost.

I use GSP only to ship international. I had a sale to South Africa come up as Priority Mail International shipping directly to the buyer. I checked my listing and it was set for GSP only. Contacted ebay's Facebook page and they said it was set up correctly for GSP, and if it happens again to contact them right away.

Under your ID on the top left, account settings, site settings, shipping preferences. Or, on the seller hub, under shortcuts, site settings, shipping preferences.

I just checked all 4 of my selling acc'ts. Only one had been changed. It had checked carrier discount given to buyers on FedEx shipping. I never use FedEx to ship, but I changed it back anyway.
