I had a buyer ask to cancel an order the day after she purchased. I went ahead and did that, selecting buyer request. That was yesterday 2/20 - it's still hanging in there 'in progress.' I asked her to be sure to accept the cancelation and she said she couldn't find where to do that and had looked all over. I have a feeling the process has been changed - the one I did before it was almost instant. Is this yet another glitch or has the time frame for approval been changed? I'm not seeing much in the A-Z help.

Are you using managed payments yet? Maybe there is something new due to that.

Yes - it finally did Friday evening. It took almost 48 hours. Someone else reported that problem, too.

Same here. eBay kindly relisted a necklace that I sold 2 years ago. Of course, I sold it again yesterday. I tried to cancel and refund. And it is sitting there.....processing. So this morning I called PayPal and also eBay. Apparently the buyer has to click on the "to complete" box in the order. PP rep said that eBay is having problems with this and many other things (surprise). The buyer also called eBay and they said she would get her $$ back this Friday. All I need is to have to cancel a previously sold item, and then having the buyer waiting for her $$. So far she has been nice about it.

I had a cancellation on Tuesday, and it took about 12 hours to process.

With my cancellation of the necklace, the buyer did receive her $$ back. But it is still showing as Processing.

I just had a request to cancel for an item that hadn't been paid for, and it went through immediately.
It had sold from send offer, and she said she didn't know why it was telling her to pay because she did not buy it. She said she was just looking at it because she has one to sell. Pretty certain she clicked to accept the offer even though she didn't realize it, but whatever.
