I probably sell about one item per week. I only share my whole closet about one day per week, and just share to parties when I am online and there is one that my stuff can be shared to. Since ebay is still slow, I will hang in there with both sites, trying to liquidate all the stuff I have.
I sent offers on a few things this morning on ebay and got 4 sales. The sweater I had at $49.99 went for $29.99, the $20 sham for $12, the Tommy Bahama shorts at $39.99 for $32.99, and a Karen Kane sleeveless tunic was $29.99 and sold for $19.99. When I lower things on PM, it really does not generate sales so I am pretty much letting the buyer make me an offer. Of course, I get the $20 for a $100 jacket ones, that I just decline, but if it's reasonable (which I have lowered my standard for what I consider reasonable recently), I will take the offer.

I don't even get offers on Posh. I tried to delete my account and I have to wait 10 days from my last transfer of funds.
At least it will free up some time.

I don't do much on eBay, just on Poshmark. Sales are up and down - I won't have any during the week and then 8-10 on the weekends. Seems like when most of the activity happens. I'm in 'clear out' mode, just purchasing enough stuff to keep some new things in the mix.
ETA: I look like I have a lot of stuff up on Posh (over 1100 listings) but they count sold items - I actually only have about 250 - that seems to be where things settle out - I bounce between 240 and 250 items available.

Wow! You only have 250 listings and get 8-10 sales a week! That's an awesome STR for Posh.

I thought I was doing only OK, but that's nice to hear! It's like digging in hard dirt, though, and I don't get a ton for my items.

I have over 1,000 active listings and might only get 1 sale a week...BUT I just got 3 sales yesterday on there, including a bundle of 3 men's shirts.
I used to follow everyone who follows me, but quit wasting my time on that, since it didn't make any difference. Most of my sales are from newbies, so I imagine that they just search for whatever item they want.
Mercari is better for me, but their search is lame.

I still follow those following me, but I generally wait a week or two to do it so I'm doing quite a few at one time. Doing it individually was way too time-consuming.
What I find strange is that my number of followers continues to get higher than those I'm following. When I go through the list of followers and click on the blue Follow button, the number I am following should equal (or exceed if I'm following any who aren't following me), but instead of equaling it, the number of followers continues to get higher than the number I'm following. It's currently 35K Followers and 24K Following. I know I don't go through 35,000 names when I go through the whole list, but I often go back a second or third time to see if any more blue Follow buttons show up, and they don't. So I guess my initial statement is not really true as I can't follow someone if PM doesn't show me they are following me.

Same here - I have 85k following me but only 48k I'm following, yet every few weeks I go through all of my follows and follow back. I have no idea why that is.

I am following 112,000 and have 86,000 followers. Over 1,300 items listed and only a few sales.
Some of the followers probably use bots, but I did the following myself.

Wowza, this is at least making me feel better than I never managed to expand to PM. I always felt like I was missing out on a lot of sales, but I guess not. Sorry to hear it's not going well for so many, but at least it's saved me some time & learning about SM b/c I really had no desire to follow/like/heart or anything else SM related. As DH says, I have 0 friends & I like it that way

I think it depends on your inventory. When I try to match some of my items to their themed "parties", I find that I have boring, basic clothing items for the most part. I think PM was shooting for the trendy folks, and those of us who are fuddy-duddies tried hitching a ride.

Well as soon as they let me I'm deleting my account. I didn't look at it today and the extra time was really helpful.

I think that I sell more men's stuff on there than women's. Very few children's because of the ridiculous shipping amount.

I list stuff on Posh that doesn't move on eBay or Etsy, and I also list my Asian stuff and vintage there, and it sells - I probably sell most of my vintage on Posh, and it's all stuff I haven't been able to sell on Etsy. I have another five items to pack and it's a really odd assortment - a Nepalese bag, vintage velour robe, coat (I sell almost all my coats on Posh due to their cheap shipping for heavy stuff), a pair of boots (ditto) and a blanket shawl. I do share a fair amount and don't mind the back and forth a bit - I listen to audiobooks while I do it which helps a lot.
ETA: If I tried purchasing stuff solely to resell on Posh I'd be stoney broke because I just don't have any real grasp on what sells there, save that I have repeat buyers for Asian and vintage stuff.
I'm not looking to do very well come spring/summer - I just don't have much and may just let things slide there with a bit of sharing at the most, or do lots or something.

I totally gave up on ebay when I got double charged on fees and it made me overdrawn. Closed the shutters. I only made less than $2000 les year anyways, the store fees were killing me.
I now have over 600 items on posh and I usually make a sale a day. Nothing to brag on but I enjoy it. My mom has my password so she does all the sharing and bumping for me.

I sold a man's sweatshirt on Posh today. Nothing else anywhere.
But I have FBMP on vacation and am not running sales on eBay until my side road ice melts.

I started listing on ebay again and sales are popping in there - but I'm having the usual weekday lull on Posh. Someone ran some numbers and turns out like 3 times as much stuff sells on Posh on the weekend than during the week.

I am addicted to Word Chums that I play during my meals. But yesterday, I did share some of my Posh closet to followers, and made a sale. I guess that I should do that more.

I haven’t listed anything on Poshmark for months, so it’s incredibly slow for me. I am going to toss some things up tomorrow since I am hosting the late party Sunday. If you want a host pick tag me @bitterchipmunk

Good luck with the party. I gave up on all of that. I list every day with very few sales. I haven’t listed in a long time. I keep getting invites to host parties for things or categories I don’t sell in and decline them, but they finally sent a free for all party one so I accepted. Funny thing is in the past I’d get several people comment on my meet the posher that they’d like a host pick. Today I had to turn off all notifications. Things must be tough because I’ve had more bundles of people’s stuff practically begging for me to feature their items. I can’t remove the bundles fast enough.

I wrote to the hosts, etc. Thanked everyone for sharing my stuff, etc. Never made a sale from any party. Hours of wasted time.
Almost all of my sales are from newbies.

Somany...click on "view bundle". Then in the bundle, on the upper right is an X. Click on that to remove it.

The bundles don’t go away, but I remove the items in them. It just annoys me because I make a thread specifically to be tagged for host picks and people still send me bundles of their stuff and I get all excited that I’m selling something.

I checked the stats of the party. Out of 603 host picks, 19 sold. I don’t know if that’s normal, but if someone listed 603 popular items, I’d expect more than 19 sales in a few days time. As far as traffic for me, I only sold two things right before the party started. Previous parties I sold several, but I also had better stuff listed. One of Tribeca’s items I chose sold though.

Thanks for the host pic Kat. Mine didn't sell but I did have two other decent items that did sell, so I think it helped.
