Good morning all! It's Good Friday, a religious day for some, final day of Spring Break for others, and just another Friday for some. Did you know it's also National Find a Rainbow Day? From Wikipedia: Rainbows form a significant part of human culture. They occur frequently in mythology, and have been used in the arts. One of the earliest literary occurrences of a rainbow is in Genesis 9, as part of the flood story of Noah, where it is a sign of God's covenant to never destroy all life on earth with a global flood again. The Irish leprechaun's secret hiding place for his pot of gold is usually said to be at the end of the rainbow. This place is impossible to reach, because the rainbow is an optical effect which depends on the location of the viewer. When walking towards the end of a rainbow, it will appear to "move" farther away.No wisdom to impart today, just a wish that the upcoming weekend brings you much joy and hope, and the rest of the year is as sparkling and bright as a rainbow. And maybe you'll find a little extra gold from the pot at the end of the rainbow What's on tap for the weekend for you? (No, the picure is not Photoshopped! They're called fire clouds.)

A beautiful pic for a beautiful day. My day started with a big smile. Having coffee this morning on the porch a hummer came looking for food. I just made up some fresh and will be putting it out shortly. Their return each year officially starts spring for me. Have guys coming to finish turning on all the coolers for the season. Wish I could go up on the roofs myself but those days are past for me. But I can stay on the ground and give instructions.

I need to give the landlord a note Monday that he can switch over the cooler when he has time. He's pretty quick about it, so I didn't want him to think he had to get up on the roof and do all that over the Easter weekend, so I'm waiting until Monday. I have to hop in the shower and head to a client office in a few minutes. Then I'm swinging by the storage unit and going thru some of the totes and donating/organizing etc. I'm off Monday, so the rest of the weekend is list, list, list! Oh, and go by the grocery store for a quarter ham to fix for Sunday.

Yesterday should have been rainbow day. Woke up to a gorgeous rainbow yesterday. Could actually see the whole thing.
Had a huge storm last night. Spent hours in the storm shelter. It fried my modem so waiting for one to be overnighted, hopefully it goes out today and arrives tomorrow. Guess it's a good thing sales are slow since I can't print from my phone. Have one sold but buyer hasn't paid yet so it can wait for Monday shipping.
Running to town to buy Easter Bbq food, maybe a new sewing machine too.

Pretty pic!!! Sorry Peek!
My thrill of today will be my nasty chemo butt-shots....man they are ouchy. But I reward myself with a stop into GW on the way home (to justify my mileage, of course).
And I have to walk a lot after the shots anyway to move the stuff through my system.
Just plan to do yard work and list all weekend. Works for me. Grandson will come here sometime for an Easter egg hunt.

I'm feeling sparkling and bright because my taxes are finally done, quarterly payments are lower than last year and I actually ended up with a refund from both state and federal. I had the refund applied to this years quarterly payments, spread out. Now I wish I would have taken the money and gotten a new fridge, I really really really need one. Should be a nice mellow weekend, we're treating ourselves to a nice dinner out tomorrow night, bf make reservations on the patio followed by what should be a pleasant Easter Sunday with several things planned. Happy Weekend to All

I'm listing and running errands this weekend. I've only listed a few items all week, so I need to get moving on it. I have two weeks worth prepped and ready to go, so I shouldn't have any trouble getting some done. Although, tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and in the low 50's, so I may have to go outside and play for a bit.

Wow, peek! Sorry about your modem. Funny, I woke up wondering whether or not you'd bought an embroidery machine.

Love the clouds, they look a lot like mountain iridescent clouds, which are pretty rare, but I managed a photo once, up around 10K feet.

Friday did not go as planned for me. It got totally shot when SO's 6-month checkup with cardiologist wound up being a 6-hr day and me being exhausted after getting home. Looks like Tuesday won't be much fun, either. Have an arteriogram scheduled at 7:00 am for SO, 20+ miles away. And sage words of advice from Dr's nurse: " Don't pizz her off, she has to drive you home!"

Oh man bets--hope everything is OK. And DH's doc is a smart doc for giving their advice like that LOL!
Yesterday was a long day. Actually, this has just been a long week. Period.

Oh man bets--hope everything is OK. And DH's doc is a smart doc for giving their advice like that LOL! Yesterday was a long day. Actually, this has just been a long week. Period. Thanks, Liz. Right now we're "in the dark"...the arteriogram is for the aorta in his stomach. He's had some major issues over the past year, including extreme weight loss. Very few answers, so far. Since there's basically nothing left of his heart, Dr's words yesterday were, after recounting the number of years since his defibrillator was implanted was, "He's LUCKY. Maybe he can get another year out of the battery." He has a birthday this month, so every day that he wakes up is truly a blessing for both of us. We literally live day-to-day. Well, I hope your day and week ends on a more positive note. So far, I've got 2 pkg going out today. But I've got a TON of work to do to get my listing count back up again since I've got a bunch ending soon. UGH. Hope you have a safe and happy Easter.
