Actually debated cancelling the check in today. After all, it IS Monday.
No words of wisdom today. But…it is the end of the month, pretty much. And it's almost the end of the quarter, too. How were your sales for the month and quarter? Where you wanted them? Not anywhere close? Better than expected?

I haven't been back to selling for a quarter yet so can't comment on that, but I have been back for a month. Sales are definitely not what I was hoping when I returned, no where close but what can ya do.

Lots of highs and lows with sales but overall I'm satisfied so far this year. Actually things are a little better than I had anticipated. Last year was pretty bad, first year I had a decrease instead of an increase in sales from the year before. It sucked and left me feeling doomy and gloomy.

March was a decent month. Of course, the fact that I actually listed new stuff probably had a lot to do with it

^^^ To paraphrase for my own situation: March was pretty crappy. Of course, the fact that I actually hardly listed new stuff probably had a lot to do with it

I barely listed anything, but that hasn't stopped me from shopping and filling up my workroom with more stuff. I do enjoy the shopping more then the listing and I need to get off my big fanny and get some stuff listed before my place starts looking like a hoarder lives here. The weather has been so nice I have just concentrated on getting the yard together, but that is finally about done so I have no more excuses.

Chuggin' along. I exceeded my monthly goal, but then again I diligently listed. I'm doing this full time now so that has taken some getting used to.
I did find that having more listed didn't lead to more sales - I had the same sales when I had 150 as when I had 220 or more, so I'm letting a bunch of winter stuff I'm tired of looking at lapse for the season - it's clogging up the works and making my store look tired (it really stands out when you're a really small niche seller).
Went to the gym for the first time since (1) Being out of town for a stretch), (2) Falling and busting my wrist, tearing a ligament and buggering up my eye, (3) Having whatever plague is going around that seems to hang on forever. It was good, though I need to tape my wrist with the heavy stuff.

Object fail, for increasing listings as I had hoped with the FP promo. Grrrrrr But as of today, I have sold the exact number of items as last month. Funny ( coincidentally, funny) how THAT works, huh?! Anyway, I had steady sunshine today and found it necessary to spend all morning photoing because the next 5 or 6 days look rather bleak, according to the current weather forecast. Possibly severe weather on Thursday. Meanwhile, though on par with the # of items sold for the month, my ASP increased...

chap, I've had the same experience as you. I've been running between 150-200, which is 50-100 more than what I've been running until recently. Not seeing any increase in sales. Like you, I'll be parking my winter stuff when it ends. I hate looking at that stale stuff.
Took about 15-20 items in to a high-end consignment store this morning. I've shopped there, but this is the first time I'm consigning. They took all but two items, so that was good. It's stuff I've had for a while but never got around to listing. Some of the completeds were so anemic, I figured I might be better by consigning and it's sure a lot less work. This particular store prices the stuff pretty high, so we'll see how it turns out.
While I was there, I bought three pair of lazy pants for myself. One was a pair of Lululemon NWT Still Pants. I've been looking all winter for a new batch of lazy pants, but with the advent of yoga pants, it's hard to find anything with pockets. I need pockets for my camera and other stuff when I'm listing. So, when I found three pair with pockets that fit me, I grabbed 'em. Looked up the Lulus when I got home and I think I'll have to list those instead:) I paid about $30 and it looks like I can sell them for $75+. That'll work out because the profit from the one pair will cover the cost of the other two.

I mailed 14 packages today, so I am happy. Having that darned IRS payment hanging over my head. $660 is a lot for me to fork over.
Running a lot of 25% off sales, and that really helps. I don't set a goal. Just try to list as much as possible and clear out the massive hoard of misc that I have around here.
Might hit 2,000 items listed soon. Or will get smart and go through my racks and pull a lot of stuff to take in for consignment.
I swear that every time I plan to pull something to donate or consign, it sells. I just sold a vintage heavy suede coat tonight that I had listed at $3.97 to get rid of....was going to take it into GW this Friday.
Guess I should pull a lot of stuff and let it sit around for a week or two...

I haven't hit my sales goals all quarter. January I missed it by a tad, February was worse, and March has been awful.
It is the classic case of "feeding the machine". In February, all 6 of us were sick in varying degrees for a week, and I also had to do car shopping, all of which prevented me from sourcing and listing. In March, I was often working at my other job, which affected how much time I put into eBay. Sadly, my check does not make up for the lost eBay income, and I have about made up my mind to quit.
