FYI - USPS CAN change an incorrect scan

One of my pkgs that I mailed to a customer was scanned as PICKED UP, instead of DELIVERED.  It was obvious from the tracking what happened.  I called USPS & opened a case & that PO called me back & changed the scan to DELIVERED & even better, they changed it on the date it actually happened (about 3 days earlier), so it doesn't look to EBay as though it was delivered late.  

I know I've read here that those scans cannot be changed, but they can.  I was able to see it, as soon as she did it on the USPS web site.  Just an FYI.

The only scans being changed thing that I heard was that if you setup a scan form for 10 packages and then decide not to ship one, you can't 'correct' the scan form and change it from 10 to 9.

IDK anything about scan forms, as I don't use them. This was a pkg I shipped that accidentally upon delivery, was scanned as "Picked Up". I opened a case with USPS & they changed it. I saw the change.
