There are several listed, assorted sellers. My guess is it's a drop ship item.

Yep, I think so too.
One of the listings states that it ships "directly from the distributor."

I have quite a few peacock things, my crazy chicken lady Aunt loved peacocks so they remind me of her. I see I just got outbid, thought that might happen but I can get it cheaper now from a catalog I just got. Dang thing has about a dozen pages marked of stuff I think I just have to have.

Boy that is one brave little cat.
Bitty has a peacock toy someplace in the house, probably under the bed since most of the toys seem to end up there. No real peacocks for me, they are too dirty, too noisy and too misbehaved. I will stick with decorative ones.

One of my favorite memories is when I was a kid, back in the dark ages when kids ran free.... We used to jump my friends fence, run through the woods and trespass on the 'Peacock Lady's' property. If we were lucky we would find some feathers. If we were unlucky she would catch us.

I have book marked that site for later when I have more time to look and my CC at my side. I am not sure whether to thank you or not at this stage.

For all you peacock lovers....You can click on the pics to enlarge them. This is Brit and Kevin, named after quite possibly the two stupidest people....Britney Spears and Kevin Federline who combined have the brain power of a chair leg. They showed up last fall out at the country home and now refuse to leave. Oh yes, these two have made one of our polesheds their home. This shed is 40x40 and has a 20' roof so these pics of them are when they are roosting on the rafters 20' in the air. The come in every night at dusk, sleep up there and leave at dawn. When we had snow they stayed in there pretty much all the time. Now that it's spring with no snow on the ground they are out and about walking the land more often. These were taken around Dec of last year which is why Kevin does not have his plumage.....they loose it in the fall and it grows back in the spring. I HATE birds with a passion so it would figure the stupidest of the birds would decide to make their home there. Obviously they are domesticated and got away from somewhere/someone. You can get about 10' from them before they walk/scuttle/fly away.

I love you, mup. I love you too! I knew my useless information combined with my addictive shopping habit would some day come in handy. Harley; I would love to have them in my yard. Or I love the IDEA of having them. I bet they are loud. I had a friend who lived next door to a guy who raised all kind of birds and he had a pair of albino peacocks. I used to love to go and see them. And the baby pigs and goats. Then my friend got married and his new wife apparently decided that he neednt talk to me any longer. Despite the fact that we have been friends for near 20 years. I am not bitter. I already have a peacock feather tattoo picked out. One of these days I am going to find a tattoo artist and get it done.

Mup...I will never understand people like that. Ahrn....you "think" you want peacocks...or peafowl as they are called The males are peacocks the females peahens...but you really don't. They are not the brightest birds. The ARE loud and messy and ...well they're birds. Their normal bird chatter is bad enough but they freaken scream and they sound like a women getting killed. youtu.be/UT9-A5Jddwwwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1qY8-HooF9IWhile I do hunt and butcher I am a live and let live if the animal isn't bothering me or being a menace. Soooo, the dang peacocks are being allowed to just live out their lives. If they stick around that's ok I guess. If they were to find another home I wouldn't lose sleep. When it gets warm they will be strolling around the front and back yards. Last year Kevin was all happy sitting in the bed of my truck while I was putting on siding. And while I hate birds with a passion I do not want them to suffer. I did some research on the dang things and found they love foods that are white and have been known to just eat styrofoam because it's white. <<<<----Does this tell you how not bright they are? So when it was below 0 and snow on the ground I took out some packages of stale crackers, bread crusts and tortilla chips for them. I didn't want to because I knew coons and mice and such would eat them too but peacocks for the most part are a domestic bird around here and it's not their fault they were to dumb to stay where they were originally wanted and will now need to learn to be better foragers.

Thanks for the clips Harley, it brought back memories. My cats went nuts and all ran to the desk to see what was going on. Those suckers can sure yell. The worst is when they do it in the middle of the night and you swear someone is being murdered. So lovely to look at, but hell to live with. Val, that site has shipping specials quite often. Especially this time of year when they are pushing the garden stuff.
