@ahrncitygal or anyone else who uses TheRealReal
I am looking at their commission chart and am a bit confused. I see
RealReal Rewards Commission Levels
The more you consign the more you earn.
Level & Commission*
Annual Net Sales** & Benefits
VIP
70%
$10,000+
• $100 site credit***
• Priority processing
• Free First Look membership ($120 value
over 12 months)
• Free cup of Sightglass coffee at our stores
ICON
60%
$1,501 - $9,999
INSIDER
55%
$0 - $1,500
which says to me the lowest commission rate is 55%, but then immediately below that I see the latest commission rates that were published which says it's 40%
Item Commission Rates
85%
• Watches with a resale
list price of $2,500 or more
80%
• Handbags with a resale
list price of $5,000 or more
• Men's sneakers with a resale
list price of $500 or more
70%
• Handbags with a resale
list price of $1,000 to $4,999
• Watches with a resale
list price of $1,000 to $2,499
• Jewelry with a resale
list price of $1,000 or more
• Art items with a resale list price of
$196 or more
50%
• All items with an original
resale list price of $146 - $195
• Home items with a resale list price
of $146 or more
40%
• All items with an original
resale list price of $145 or less
Any idea what the first chart is in regards to? I get that there are some special benefits that goes along with cumulative selling on their site, but I don't get the commission rate part of it. If the last one didn't say $0-$1500, I would have said you have to reach a certain level of sales to get the 55%, but that doesn't make sense with the range starting at $0.
Thanks!
