I've been creating a bunch of listings recently for various size packages. Both first class & priority are showing me strangely inflated shipping costs depending on the size of the package. A first class package of 10 oz with a length of 17 x 4 x 4" was going to cost $17 to ship to Chicago. A priority box weighing 3 lbs with dimensions of 16 x 14 x 10 would cost $33 to ship to Chicago. Yet when I used the exact same weights & dimensions at the USPS site I got $17 for a 3 lb package to 12345 zip code in NY. None of the package are considered oversized. Anyone else noticing this as either buyer or seller?
ETA- when I just changed the dimensions and then changed them again I got a correct figure. Wonder if buyers are seeing this glitch or if it's just a Safari thing?

I don't use their calculator as I hear it's pretty wonky - I don't think it's a browser issue. You might want to check Bugs in their forums and see if anything was reported.

I noticed it too. That might explain why sales are so dismal there right now. I don't know what the customers are seeing.

I notice the shops doing really well there are the ones selling gift items, little personalized widgets, T shirts and the like. Vintage seems to be really suffering, especially the clothing. Its just been lately for me - last couple of months. To me its a combo of search and the emphasis on cheap/free shipping (free shipping has done nothing for me). My last several sales have been all international, too, which is odd.
Definitely I would not trust that calculator right now, though.
