Two questions really.
1). When a payout date is in the future on a “sold” item, is it already in my account balance and just not available to with draw yet or is it not even included in the total yet? I have about $150 that shows “sold” but has a payout date in the future so I’m just trying to figure out if that money is already in the total they are showing. Right now there is only about $30 difference in my account balance and the amount available to withdraw so the $30 doesn’t match up to the $150 with future dates.
2). I also have several items that say “unavailable” and have future payout days (over and above the $150 mentioned above). Some of them have been unavailable for a week or two or more but the future payout date is 12/13 for all of them. That makes it seem like they aren’t actually sold. Does anyone have a clue what unavailable means on thredup?

I had several items in my last 2 bags showing as unlisted and wondered if someone was holding them in a cart. When I checked several weeks later, they were still unavailable. I contacted ThredUP and was told that Thred up had sent them in assortments to customers. Don’t know what they call this but customers get to decide what they want to keep of these “assortments”. If the customer does not want them, they send them back it meanwhile my items are not available for purchase for several weeks. I had not recorded what my payout was on my upfront items and that information had disappeared by the time I tried to figure out of thredUP had actually paid me for my items that they pulled to send in assortments to customers. Pretty unhappy about their constantly changing procedures.

They are goody boxes. And if they send an item in the goody box they do pay you right away.

OK, I was just going through my selling history from my pc, and I see the ones that say "unavailable" on the phone app are showing as paid out sometime in the past when looking at the pc. So apparently their programming has not been updated in both places. Grrrr. Even the items that show sold are showing different dates. They both say payout date but I'm thinking the pc is actually showing the sale date, not the payout date. I will be able to confirm that in a couple of days when other items hit the payout date showing on the app. If my balance goes up, the app has the correct payout date. If the balance stays the same, the pc is showing the correct payout date.
And then in looking at one of my bags, it shows one less item when looking at the phone app versus looking at the same bag on my pc. The total payout for the bag is weird also. On the first screen on the app where it just shows the order date and payout confirmed amount, the amount agrees to what the pc says, but when I click in to see the items, the total is reduced by the amount of the missing item. I checked my other bags, and they all agree in $ and in number of items so I'm not going to worry about it, but I do hate it when the two places don't show the same information. Sloppy programming.
