I just got my bill and I think I paid for something last year that I did not need. I simply have a domain name and web forwarding plus I should have private registration.
Anyway I got my bill for renewal and this was on it: ESSENTIAL WEB HOSTING-UNIX
I don't think I need that as all I am doing is pointing to a domain name and forwarding it to my ebay listings.

I looked at NS's site, that package is $9.96/month and includes space to host a website. Are you paying separately for the domain name, or is that included in the NS package?

I paid for sections 2 and 3. Do I have to pay for the first part or not?
Bill is 3 lines:
Service Description Qty Term (Exp. Date)
Essential Web Hosting-Unix 03EE3C0.NETSOLHOST.COM 1 1 year(s) (2018-11-04)
Web Forwarding BETHSBAGSNSTUFF.COM 1 1 year(s) (2018-11-04)
domain .COM BETHSBAGSNSTUFF.COM 1 1 year(s) (2018-11-04)

If you're not hosting any website, then you shouldn't need the hosting. If both of your domains forward to your eBay stores, then you are basically paying rent on an empty house that has no address or driveway to get to it.
ETA: It may be that you got the domain name by paying for the year of hosting when you didn't have to. You should have been able to just buy the domain name outright.

I paid for renewal on the domain and the forwarding. They took me for a ride on hosting last year when I wasn't paying attention. I actually don't like Network Solutions just for that reason. They must send 30 notices that the account is due starting in July for November 4.

I don't like network solutions at all. And private registration is when you don't find the 'owners' personal contact info when you do a whois (basic internet commands you may be able to use from the command line. Waybackwhen they didn't used to be on windows computers but may be now. They've made it optional on linux distros now but it used to be part of the basic setup like ping and tracert/traceroute)
I dunno what your domain name is so can't check it but type at the command line
whois insert-internet-domain-name-here
and you'll see the information that gets 'published'. When it's private, the domain can't be highjacked easily too.

They are both private.
