I was looking for an additional venue to sell on and found that I can sell CDs and DVDs on Barnes & Noble Marketplace. It's almost exactly like Amazon but less fees and you can't list at a price less than $1.99, so no race to the bottom. And, I can sell lower priced items and still make a profit. The FVF is 15% with no additional fees.
They give you a shipping allowance, which isn't quite enough to cover all of the shipping costs, but even at $1.99 price it's enough to make a profit. They send a direct deposit to your bank every Tuesday.
I'm going to list all my new sealed items at first and see if I can get any sales.

I've never gotten around to listing the piles of books and CDs I've got - they don't do that well on eBay (unlike my DVDs which all sell) and since eBay in its infinite wisdom has raised the fvfs to 12%, it's discouraging- B&N might be worth it.
