Buyer posted crappy pictures of measurements and Posh sided with her! She didn't even measure right on the chest. And the length doesn't even show the whole dress.
The last return request I got on Posh was for a broken zipper. The buyer posted a blurry picture of nothing. I really mean nothing it was a dark blur and Posh sided with her! I was always told Posh was seller friendly but I guess they are losing too much money.

Not good at all. Luckly I am 3/4 of the way through my unsold inventory between Thredup and Posh.

That's not good news. Can you appeal? I might just leave out measurements from now on and just wait for them to be requested.

I actually had someone on Tradesy want to return a cheap $12 top. It was so funny - she copy and pasted the return wording from the site, even though it didn't really pertain to the item, and sent the message to me (!). I told her to contact the site. At that cheap it's final sale there and they obviously told her no. I wonder if Poshmark has a lower limit for returns?

I'm just going to leave it. As usual it was a cheap dress. I'll measure it again when I get it back.
What's bothering me more is that they allowed it. I only had 3 problems on Posh in selling there for over 2 years. But 2 of them have been in the last 3 months!

Poshmark is usually very good in shutting down returns for fit. I never had one for fit, but I had one for wrinkles (on a crinkled dress, mind you) and musty smell, I did get to keep my money.

Yes I did reply. I just said sorry it didn't fit but my measurements are correct and you are measuring wrong. It is a Poshfest weekend and maybe they have a skeleton crew working cases? I don't know. Nothing I can do so I'm moving on. Ebay is my "baby" again until something happens and pisses me off. Then it will be Posh again. LOL

I got it back today. Measured and posted the measurements on the return case. I doubt they will do anything. My measurements were accurate in the listing.
Plus I sold the "broken zipper " dress on Tradesy and the buyer messaged me to say it was beautiful and thanks. I took a screenshot because it shows the dress and posted that on that return case.
I don't even sell alot in Posh so if they black list me I don't really care. But it's easy and extra income so I'm not looking to get booted. They were always very seller friendly so I'm encouraging them to stay that way. If I make a mistake I own up to it but I didn't in either of these situations.

And I've had the exact opposite experience (twice) and won't buy there anymore. I purchased a new with tag "kimono" and received a ruana/shawl-Poshmark sided with he seller and said I should have asked questions-but I purchased based on the photographs and description so why ask questions?
I understand the "fit" policy-I purchased 2 tops (too big) and shoes (too small)-no measurements and I knew I was taking a chance so didn't complain.
The last item I purchased was a pair of "perfect" earrings that were "authenticated" by Poshmark, Since they gave the ok, it didn't matter that one was damaged-it's an internally threaded stud with a bent screw that will never be 100% secure. The earring was defective but it was not mentioned in the description.
Part of Poshmark's business model is the "re-poshing" aspect-they continuously make a hefty commission when users resell the items that don't work for them-in my case, those items were not as described and I had no recourse. they kindly offered to help me delete my account and I declined. I no longer list/share/love/participate-but sell a few things here and there. I also sent them a screenshot of their "Posh Protect" satisfaction guaranteed promise-which they don't adhere to.

I'm leery of purchasing anything on Poshmark unless it's from one of you guys - there are so many flakes selling on there. Guess like anywhere, though.

I guess I need to update. I added pictures when I got it back and they credited my account. They still gave me a sometimes things don't go as planned email but as long as I got my money I don't care. I also have the dress.

I have only made 7 sales in 2 months, but bought 3 items and they were fine.
So far, so good.

It’s not a perfect system, but from most what I read, if you’re sent something worn out or damaged, Poshmark takes care of it. If it doesn’t fit or you don’t like the color or how it hangs, their solution is to re-sell it. As mentioned above, that’s more money for them. I do like that sellers don’t get paid until the item is accepted or three days after delivery. It trains sellers to ship quickly and to sell things they have confidence in. There will be crappy sellers there just like eBay and crappy buyers too.

I also have the dress. Ha, that's a very cool thing to do. I guess many sellers do not know they can still argue their point after they got a return. Like, when buyer gives you a BS about "wrong measurements" or "stain". This is pretty awesome. Although they never should have decided it in her favor at all, of course.

That's all good to know- I did purchase something- the seller shipped promptly but delivery was slow and I had left town before it arrived. I think Posh does have a good returns system though it'll be too late for me by the time I get home. I'm thinking it'll be fine. I hadn't explored it too much past the seller side.
