Bonanza is supposed to automatically delete items sold on eBay when you have the accounts linked. Well, apparently they don't. After hearing crickets on Bonanza for months and months, I was just ignoring it. Turns out today, I sold two items to one buyer, one of which was sold on eBay weeks ago. Moral, go in and manually delete your items that are sold on eBay as Bonanza cannot be relied on to do that.

I never hear of it either but I stopped posting stuff there a while ago. I just had everything set so I had to approve any sales there.

I uploaded my eBay store to Bonanza in October and have gotten 8 sales. Not great, but a lot more than I expected. It does seem to delete some items automatically, but not all of them all the time. I really try to remember to go in and do it manually. Thanks for the reminder; I just found one that sold today on eBay.

If you go to "Copy Items from eBay" under the eBay import selection you see: Import options Importing items as eBay user xxx. Change eBay account
Keep my Bonanza listings synchronized to my eBay store What does this mean? Discount imported item prices by Boosts Google Shopping traffic See why we recommend this
If you check "keep my Bonanza listings synchronized..." it is supposed to delete sold eBay items automatically as well as other things. You can read exactly what that check mark does in a box that opens up to describe it--but it won't let me copy it.
Anyway, what they promise to do is only sporadically done. They have a hard time coming to grips with believing that. Just like they won't believe that their IS gets screwed up often in the imports.

I have also noticed that Bonanza doesn't always delete items sold on eBay, but I have my Bonanza account set up so I have to okay the orders before they sell so I can first check eBay to make sure the item hasn't sold there. Not a big deal for me because I only sell a couple of items a year on Bonanza.

I ended my acct after they accused me of selling a fake. Due to the glitch you described above, I had already sold the item months ago. It wasn't a fake and they apologized but I cancelled my acct. Hardly sold anything there.

I only averaged a sale or two a year on Bonanza. I would come right out and tell prospective buyers that they could buy an item for less there and they would still pay the higher price on Ebay.

I *thought* they only synchronized the listings when you ran the import tool and not on any kind of automated basis. But I've not listed anything there in about a year so I'm certainly not an expert. I've been trying to import my ebay unsolds and that's just not working. I sent them a question about it on Friday, in my experience they're good about responding so I hope to hear back some time Monday. I wasn't going to double list on eBay and Bonanza, but this "approve the sale" option sounds good. I need to look into that more before I commit to it. Whenever I import, I never select the option for my items to immediately go live. I want to review all of the listings first to see what thye changed. Control freak that I am. It also prevents them from overlaying active Bonanza items with the newly imported stuff. It's an extra step, but for me, it's worth my sanity. Or what's left of it.
