Came home from the store today and hear mewing. I'm thinking well that's odd since we don't have any cats and that sounds like a little bitty kitten. Follow the sound to the storage building and sure enough there's a tiny kitten inside (there's a small hole in the door, DH is building a new door), anyways. It's eyes are open and it's big enough to walk around but it's not steady on it's feet yet.
I told DD to leave it there, the Momma was probably around and moving the kittens from nearby to the shed because it wasn't there the other day. We just emptied out the building and went through everything in there. So I know she didn't have the kittens in there. DD just went out and now there's 2 or 3 kittens in there. Gosh darn it, I hate being right LOL
We are getting ready to move, hopefully in about a week and now I have to figure out what to do with cats, I'm so allergic to them, I can't even touch them and I want to, they look so cute and fluffy. Haven't seen the Mom yet so no idea if I'll be able to catch her or not. Our little local no kill shelter never accepts drop offs, they always say they are too full, but maybe if I pay them, they will take them. They could probably use a couple more weeks with Mom so hopefully I can get her too. May have to set up a trap for her.
Anyways just wanted to say why, why does every cat in the county come here to have her kittens? I don't get it.

Because Kritter's house is too far away!

My sister is going to take them all. Thank you sis!!! Now I just need to get the Momma use to us to get her into our extra dog kennel. She doesn't seem wild, just a big stand offish so a couple days of food will probably do the trick. Gave her turkey today since I didn't have any cat food, I'll pick her up a bag tomorrow.
I'll try to take some pics when we get them gathered up, DD thinks there are 3 babies in there.

Put the kittens in the kennel and she should go in with them. Do it before she moves them again.

I don't think she's going to move them, she seems to be right at home now. She let DD pet her today and loved it. She cozied right up to her. At some point she was someone's kitty, she just needed a bit of food and some lovin' to remind her some people are awesome. My sister has a long weekend so we'll give her a few more days to get comfortable with being handled then we'll cage her up and send her to her new home.
