...............but they want you to ship in less than 24 hours.
I sold quite a bit there (more money than Ebay) but the month long hold was a bit much-I quit. Re-instated my listings and sold 2 items in one week. I received reminders <24 hours after sale to ship the item.
So if I need to ship at lightening speed why do they pay at a slugs pace?

They send reminders but you don't really have to ship for like 5-6 days or something. They'll send a reminder a few days later. I ship right away, but their labels don't scan so I got three reminders in the 7 days it took to get there, and finally had to contact the buyer and ask if she had received her item - she kindly wrote right back so I was able to write CS to have it marked as delivered.

I've been using my own postage since most of my items are fairly lightweight-one I even sent first class.

Far better to use your own postage - cheaper plus they use (at least the last time I did it) a .gif file for their labels, which has poor resolution even when printed with my thermal printer, and not one of them that I used has been able to be scanned by the USPS, and my local USPS and sorting center are very efficient. I tried it for some pricier, heavier things because it was cheaper to use their label, and stopped after two or three when the same thing kept happening. I ship most things there first class save in the winter when they're heavier items.
ETA: This is funny - I haven't sold anything on Tradesy in weeks and suddenly, as I type this post, a sale comes in!

They are the slowest payers on record. It drives me nuts.

To me I just sell the stuff, ship it and when the money comes in it comes in. But a lot of my stuff is piddly - I got a little twitchy when I sold a $120 coat, though.

I just listed a $1500 Gucci handbag. If it sells, it will be the highest total sale ever for me. It is nervewrackng to say the least. I also have 3 more LV bags and a make up case to list. I am just trying to get those all authentcated right now.

I don't find the stuff most of you guys find - it's all just rip-rap junk, so it's not so nervewracking. Can you try The Real Real?

Real Real will take too much of your Profit Profit. Also, I think they sometimes low ball to Sell Sell. And then you leave money on the table. So it's a trade off--safety and speed for money.

I turned off Tradesy notifications on my phone completely, because it pisses me off when I sell something on Saturday and I get a notification on Monday, a federal holiday, screaming at me to OMG SHIP NOW!!! They also send you daily promotional notifications with the same sound as the sale, and I hate being excited and immediately disappointed. The 21 days hold (it is never actually 21 days for me, but about 10) and then 10 day transfer time doesn't bother me at all, to be honest. It's mildly annoying, but it's not like I need those money right this second. Fees are high, wait time for money is stupid, but I do like an additional $$$ they bring me. Very often I sell stuff there that is dead stock on ebay with zero watchers and hardly any views, like today's $70 sale - a fugly St. John.

mupcycledcouture I have a few things listed on Vestiare (they're commission is outrageous though) and people still low ball. I don't like TheRealReal because they also take complete control-at least with Vestiare you retain your merchandise. @makinmagic I found it annoying as well-I sold on evening and I started getting shipping reminders within 12 hours or so. I'm just not inspired to drop everything to ship when I know I won't see the month for a month anyway. I had a few really pricey things to list but IDK if I feel comfortable with Tradesy-I miss ShopHers-I didn't mind the commission; it was worth peace of mind knowing they dealt with the buyer.

Some TPF posters have complained about RealReal damaging their items. One post was about high end scarves.
