Good morning! What's your Sunday plans? Sunday had a longstanding history in Ebay-land for being a great day for your auctions to run. Some say it hasn't completely died yet. What say you? Today is the 81st day of the year.

So far, I've frittered the morning away. I did go to church at 7:30 a.m. and then to breakfast, but aside from that, I've been lazy and unproductive. DD and SIL are coming over for an early dinner and some financial advice (they're starting to look at purchasing a home) this evening, so if I'm going to get anything accomplished, it needs to be soon. I've been busy with paperwork and a two-day trip to NYC this week, so I haven't gotten anything new listed; just relists. Need to get at least a few things up today.

Dh took 3 of the kids to church, I am home with dd7 who has a very painful ear infection that is resistant to Amoxicillin. She is now on Augmentin, but I don't think that it is helping, either. If she doesn't show improvement by tomorrow morning, we will be back to the doctor, which will be the third appointment for her ear.
I plan on doing laundry, getting kids ready to go back to school tomorrow after their Spring Break, and maybe getting pics taken on some of the stuff that I pulled from the kids' bedrooms during my clean out this week. I already sold one of their toys for a decent amount of money, so I am feeling motivated to get things listed!

I am going to finish up in my ebay storeroom. Moved in a storage rack yesterday and got new fabric bins to put in it. Having the extra space is going to be nice. I got garden plants yesterday so I have to get them in today. And the birds are screaming at me to fill the feeders so that needs to get done before they start dive bombing me. I have a pot of soup started on the stove and it can bubble away as I do the other jobs. All in all it's going to be a very nice day.

Going to Starbucks, hopefully getting my computer issue squared away, laundry, and then relaxing.

I'm trying to get some mens shorts measured & listed. They don't excite me too much so it's a chore. Sunny outside & I'd love to go out but it's not as warm as it looks. The soup sound good, Shirley. Maybe I'll see what I can through together. There is a loaf of good bread to serve with it.

Sunday is my laundry day-my own and a basket of Grandsons clothing to list in lots.
Yay that I have 7 sales to pack up. Started another 25% off sale.

Looks like no rain for today so going to plant the two jasmines that I pulled of the half dead 50% off rack and get them in the ground.
Waiting for my new pole saw to get here but will maybe try to saw some tree branches off with the old one. I can be so impatient at times.
After 2 rain days, I want to get outside. I would never survive in snow country-cabin fever would do me in.

I'm taking my daughter dress shopping for prom. And tonight I'm working on some last minute touches on the house. We have a showing tomorrow. May have one while we're out today.

The soup sound good, Shirley. Maybe I'll see what I can through together. There is a loaf of good bread to serve with it. It's my usual clean out the fridge/freezer/cupboard soup. This time with a ground turkey base. Lots of chilis in this one so I may go and see if the tortilla lady is home and get some fresh ones to serve with it. To me the smell of something simmering on the stove is energizing and gives me a lift. Sometimes mental energy is even better then physical engergy, you can talk yourself into getting things done that you would otherwise just put off.

Christie, do you have any melaleuca oil (tea tree oil) at home? Try treating her ear infection with that. Take a Qtip, dip it in another oil (I use mineral, baby or olive, whichever I have on hand) then add ONE drop of tea tree oil on the QTip. Do not use the tea tree oil directly, it's painful (I learned this one the hard way myself, yowza!). Diluted with another oil base, not painful but really works, and works fast. It reduces the inflammation almost immediately, and has natural antibiotic and antifungal properties. Will not interfere with the oral antibiotic.
As soon as I finish my coffee, I'm getting on the check-in ahead list and then heading down to get a haircut. Then a short stop by the grocery store for cat food and a few other things, then home to measure and list. I'm off tomorrow, yay, more listing time!

I found a ham bone in the freezer with some meat on it - simmering now. I'll add some potatoes & green beans & maybe dough (for my husband). I'm not sure if it's really lifting me to measure shorts but I am looking forward to dinner. I did get about 7-8 pair listed but still have a banana box full to go.

Val-- thanks for the tea tree oil tip. I haven't tried that. DD is in bed right now with a rice/sock heat pack.
Odyssey-- I was wondering where you were, didn't see many posts from you yesterday. Hope your computer is fixed soon. I want to get out and enjoy the sun! Finally no rain!
Dante-- have fun shopping for prom! That seems so far away from me, as my daughters are 9 and 7, but I am sure the time will race by and it will be here before I know it.
and mmmmm soup. Last night I went to pick up some Pho for a friend who is sick, and now all I can think about it going and getting some for me.

Went to church, picked up groceries i had already ordered on line. Came home and took pictures. Bought myself a new vanity for my bedroom. It's an antique store where they redo old furniture. Going to try and copy the link here.

It's laundry day. Did a little mending. Filled the bird feeders and spent some time planning out the garden and adding new soil to the beds. I had hoped to get the straw bales for our straw bale gardening experiment, but that will have to wait until later in the week now. They have to be conditioned over a two week period so time is ticking.

Just save the picture from FB to your desktop, then use the "add image to post" button above. Not everyone here is on facebook and therefore can't see some FB links when they're posted here.

After 2 days out & about, I'm enjoying staying home. My living room is a disaster; I have a bad habit of bringing tubs of stuff to measure & list downstairs to work on AND NOT taking them back upstairs when I'm finished. I'm babysitting the grands a little later and need some room for them to play; can't set up a card table tent until I clear space. And if I clear the kitchen counter we can bake cookies.
Alas, no laundry, measuring or listing for me today- my full attention will required. Tonight I have a 14 page paper to proofread for my sister- she's presenting it at the conference in 2 weeks and it needs to make sense.
Shirley- your pot of soup sounds divine! I wonder what I can put together with what's on hand here? Glad you mentioned it.

I missed this thread somehow earlier. I've been listing for a few hours now. I'm going to go outside to do some yard work at 6 for a bit.

That's cute, roy! I used to have one like that years ago when I lived in Dallas, but mine was still the original wood color and not painted. Yours looks like it's been nicely restored. Pretty color.

Today turned out to be gorgeous, and I spent the whole day inside Did about 6 loads of laundry, cleaned mini blinds and dusted/vacuumed the boys room, did a Sign Up Genius for softball snacks for the season, answered emails, paid bills, and tended to my dd who has an ear infection. Looking around, it seems as though I did nothing today, but I am worn out!

I got up early and have been packing boxes for our move in just a bit over a week. I took a short nap this afternoon and got two loads of laundry done. Packing boxes is terrible and I already ran out of newspapers to wrap fragile items in.
I am so excited we are finally getting a place of our own but I am stressing just a little over money. I know we can afford it but we have had so much to pay for all at once. We both had to pay 6 months of insurance, our yearly registration and car taxes, the apartment application fee and deposit and out first month rent. And then you have all sort of activation fees for electricity, gas, and internet. We also bought a sofa but we have Nebraska Furniture Mart here and they offer 20 month no interest financing which was a nice help. And there are still things we are going to need like a vacuum, etc. I want to buy fun stuff and decorations, darn it! LOL.
I have decided to put Ebay on hold until we get settled. I will leave what I have listed up but I decided it would be too stressful to attempt to list the way I have wanted to to earn extra money. Once I get settled I can list again and then buy some of the fun things to decorate with.
