It's Saturday! Finally! Even knowing I might be working on eBay today - listing, shipping, taking pictures, whatever - it's still SATURDAY! And there is no schedule. Things get done when I'm ready and not before. What are your plans today? Working all week can make a grown man cry…so for those needing a little extra cheer after a particularly long week, a little happy Saturday music:

Saturday is running errands and ebay day. I will be listing this afternoon. I have a pile to get listed before next weekend's inventory shopping. A lot of boring items to list, so I will be listening to my 80s hits CDs to keep me motivated. I hope it doesn't turn into a dance party.

We are in the middle of a major rain event so I will being doing inside stuff today. Definitely straightening and cleaning and some possible listing.
Oh, putting away jeans and cooler weather stuff and getting summer stuff ready to roll. Hitting the low to mid 80s here next week.

I may do that later this afternoon - pull the summer clothes out of the closet, pack away the winter. If I do, I'll need to leave a few long sleeve T's out since we still have a few chilly mornings ahead, but my spring jackets will take care of any work days. Meanwhile, I see a trip to the 99-cent thrift in my immediate future…after I finish my coffee…. And I have to list dresses this weekend. No excuses. Must. List. Dresses.

Plans for today had to change this morning when I got up and saw the weather. Had planned on getting the weeds sprayed today before they take over. But it is cold and raining on and off so that plan went by the wayside. I think I will finish organizing my storeroom. I cleaned it out last week and got rid of junk and actually got things in the proper labeled tubs and my shipping boxes on their shelves and sorted by size. I have a storage rack I want to put in there and this would be a good day to do it, no sunshine to draw my attention away from getting ebay stuff done.

I work my regular job on Saturday's (right now I'm on lunch break). I really love my job, especially on days like today when I get to put on my creative hat. I'm almost finished with our fairy garden display - it's so adorable! After lunch I will have to tackle the paperwork I've been putting off all week - needs to be finished before I go home tonight. I'm going to try to hit the TS on my way home - all depends on how tired I feel once I leave here. Sunday starts my weekend.

Eh, I'm skipping the 99-cent shopping. I'm too lazy to get ready. I can measure and list and no one cares if I just hopped out of the shower or not. And there's a really tasty Trader joe's Mexican quiche in the microwave for brunch

I tilled some composted soil in to the veggie garden this morning. Then I pinned the Preen fabric down in the new flower beds. I'm now off to the local Sears Hardware that is closing to see what gardening deals I can find. Enjoy your Saturday no matter what you're doing!

Just spent an hour or so reviewing our tax return which DH picked up from the accountant yesterday. For the first time since we've been using a professional at DH's insistence (five out of the last six years) I didn't find any errors. Yay for that! The day I get to file away all of last year's documentation and move on with my life is always a good day for me.
Now, it's on to the monthly household credit card reconciliation and bill paying. Fun, fun, fun! I couldn't believe it when I looked at the clock! I lost a few hours somewhere, so after doing the bills, I'll probably give up on the idea of getting anything listed today. We'll see.

Were in Vegas. Got here yesterday and leaving tomorrow. I'm dropping bf off at his event then hitting the bin store... Woohoo! They close At 530 so I'm hitting that one first then the others around it. Got most of my shopping done yesterday. Only 15 things. A little disappointing. Hopefully today I'll find more than that.
When we get back I need to set everything aside and focus on taxes. Yuck.

I ran errands today. Ran to the post office, dropped off a load at GW, went to Dollar Tree to get my cleaning supplies, and then went to Best Buy to finally get my new phone. My old 4S was starting to have problems, but I kept putting off getting a new one.
I am supposed to go to a wine tasting party tonight, but I am a beer drinker, so I am probably going to skip it and go see a friend instead. DH and the kids will stay in and watch a movie. It is rainy and chilly here.

Dug out a bunch of mastectomy bras that my 2 friends gave to me. I will list and donate the $$ to our local Relays for Life. Then sorted through my grandson's clothing that my daughter gave me to sell.
Ironed 12 items that I will take into my fav consignment shop this week.
Met pals for lunch, then a quick trip to WM.
Hope to list tonight.
Made 3 sales!!!! Whoopee!!!

I prepped 5 pairs of shoes for pics as soon as this rain goes away. Pulled out my summer clothes and sorted some out to sell on ebay. No decent consignment stores around here so ebay is my only hope. Still raining here.......

I got the storage rack cleaned up and put in the storage room. Needed some more fabric storage bins so I went to Dollar General to get the purple ones I use. Going out of the driveway the car turned left instead of right and next thing I knew I was in town at Savers. Shopped for awhile and found lots of goodies including another great pot for my yard and a cat statue, and I had a 30% off coupon! Headed home and as I was going by Lowe's the Bonnie Plant truck was pulling into their lot. Just had to stop because I have been waiting for plants. Got a Cherokee Purple tomato plant, cilantro plants and spearmint plants. Now I just need a Potato Vine and I will be set for plants. Ended up getting quite a bit done for the day, just nothing at all that I had planned.

Went to a "Reveal Party" today where they revealed the sex of my 1st grandchild (BOY). When did this become a party event? We had the reveal when the baby came out! Anyway, it was cute & a lot of fun. They are very happy & I like knowing what color to buy. I'm tired of looking at yellow duckie clothes. I now have a lot of pink infant clothing to list.

Congrats on the upcoming grandbaby boy kidgear, seems to be a new trend having reveal parties. Hasn't caught on too big here yet, thankfully LOL
DD's and I spent the day shopping, didn't plan on being gone but a few hours, left at 9am, got home at 7pm ha. Picked up lots of new fabric, some inventory items (nothing exciting), just had a fun day.

Took some sold items to the PO, and that was pretty much the extent of my eBay day. I decided to work on a client's QuickBooks that I need to return to them on Monday and hit a snag about 15 minutes into it. Sure hope they're reading emails today. So I can either go set up a website or the cat and I can watch some TV on the laptop. I'm thinking the TV shows might win out.

Never heard of a reveal party. Guess I'm out of the loop since I'm in that stage of life where no one I know is having babies or grandbabies.
Congrats on the upcoming grandson, kidgear! When is he due?

Done with shopping. Didn't do so hot the last few times we've been here. Has anyone shopped in vegas lately and done well?
Reveal parties have caught on here, seems like anything pregnancy/baby/kid related has to be done up and done up well.

I had never heard of a reveal party either but I guess they are a big thing here in western Pa. I was older when I had my kids so everyone my age was done having kids. At my 25th class reunion I had the youngest child & some already had multiple grandchildren. Grandson is due in mid August. I'm looking forward to some baby shopping (like I need an excuse to shop)

Congrats Kidgear, being a grandparent is fun stuff!
I like the idea of a reveal party when it is for close friends and family. The invitation for the last reveal party we attended had a registry website with suggested reveal gifts. I found that kinda tacky. Especially since it was followed closely by the baby shower invite with 3 registry sites.

I was wondering if this was supposed to be a gift occasion. She did get a couple cute maternity T-shirts. We took them to dinner after the party. I'm so out of the "baby" loop. She's all excited about the shower. Truthfully, I don't remember if I've ever been to a baby shower. Didn't have then for my kids.

Congrats kidgear! My daughter didn't have a reveal and I am glad.
She knew ASAP what she was going to have so I could stock up on the baby gifts early.
My grandson will soon be 3 and the absolute love of my life.

Congratulations Kidgear. A reveal party is new to me too. Bt, any excuse to have a party is great! They still have a shower though, right? If so, I think then it wouldn't be a gift thing at a reveal party.

Congrats on your grandson, so exciting. I am in the phase of my life where I am still raising my kids, and while I hope to be a grandparent someday, I hope it is still 10-15 years away.
I have seen some of my younger pregnant friends have a reveal party, but more commonly, they will post a cute picture that reveals the gender. I have seen some really creative ways to make the big announcement.

Thanks to all~ I guess finding a really creative way to make the announcement is a big part of it. They are still having a shower. This is the first grandchild on both sides so it's a big deal. This kid is going to be so spoiled. I guess that's what grandparents are for! I find it kind of funny that my camo-wearing, hunter, fisherman, stone mason son is so excited about it.
