Good morning virtual sellers! It's Monday! Aren't you excited? Yeah, I can tell. It's, well, Monday. Being self-employed, we can take Monday as our day off if we want, it's one of our perks. Sort of a trade off for no paid vacation, right? But for those of you who don't take off on Monday (eBay or RL), what do you do to psych yourself up to make Monday a more positive and productive day? Treat yourself to Starbucks? Eat lunch out? Put on your favorite CD while listing? If I know I'll be listing on Monday, then I try to pull the pieces from my listing stash that I feel will sell the fastest. By doing so, I get them up, they get seen, and hopefully sell, thus getting my week off to a good start and motivating me to list the rest of the week. What's your best Monday trick er, tip? And while you're thinking about it, how about an ode to Monday?

Well that certainly woke me up and got me moving. Can't believe I have a smile on my face on a Monday morning.

I love Monday. Everyone goes back to work or school. I can count on having the house to myself until afternoon about 3 days a week. Monday is one of them.

All of a sudden rain forecast for the rest of the week so I have to make a couple of trips to Lowes for mulch on sale before it gets rained on and weights triple the usual weight. Any excuse not to take ebay pics.

Monday isn't as bad if I get stuff ready the night before, on days I"m headed to an office. If it's an eBay day, woo hoo it's 99-cent day at one of my thrifts so that starts off my eBay Mondays.

Unless it was a really bad eBay weekend, taking Monday off isn't an option for me because I have to ship. I don't usually ship on weekends so I've got Friday, Saturday and Sunday to do. I don't particularly dread Mondays or look forward to Fridays though, it's just another day in paradise.

Monday is just another work day and doesn't bother me. Now, when I had to get up and go to a job with a grouchy boss, yes, Mondays were the worse. I do like that all the neighborhood kids are at school and not driving up and down the road on their four wheelers.

I LIKE Monday- I work on prepping & listing on several different venues all day... it's a glorious day!! Everyone is usually out of the house so I have the washer & dryer to myself. Since everybody has driven to work, I have the driveway to myself so I can move my van near the back door, haul stuff in from the car and concentrate on sorting, laundry etc. But I sabotaged myself today by letting DS use my car... dang it. So instead of clearing the car I'll take advantage of the sunshine, Biz some whites that have stains (Robert Graham, vintage pillowcases, EF & Flax) and hang them on the line in the sun to bleach the stains out.

Just another day for me as I never take a break from eBay.
I had been babysitting on Mondays, but will have the little adorable on Wed. That is better since I usually, hopefully have to run out to mail stuff on Mondays.
Listing cookbooks today.

I've got my 2 set full shopping days a week (Monday isn't one of them) and that's really the only written in stone things that must get done on schedule each week. All the other days just run together, Monday is just like any other day for me, I do usually list but don't mind getting pulled in another direction if something comes up. NOTHING beats the Flexibility of an Ebay gig. Love love love it Well, I just realized it won't be quiet around here this week, it's spring break so the neighbors brood will be yelling and screaming aka playing in the back yard all week. I wish they watched TV and spent more time indoors

Monday means back to school for the kids, which means getting up early blah. That's the only thing I don't like about Mondays. Mondays in the summer are awesome. What got me happy this Monday was realizing they only have 2 more months of school before summer break. YAY 2 months, I just might make it LOL

I like Mondays, too. I haven't worked a M-F job in a gazillion years and, like a few others have said, it was always my quiet day after everyone went back to work/school. No kids at home anymore and DH is retired now, so one day kind of runs into the next. I don't have a set schedule for cleaning or ebay, but I woke up in a cleaning mood today, or at least as close as I ever get to one, so I've been doing personal laundry, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, changing sheets today. Taking a lunch break right now.

I loved the video, Thanks!
I like Mondays because my favorite thrift has 1/2 price on 3 colors and the rest are 1/3 off. Had a good day!!

Glad I checked back in- almost forgot my whites on the line... oops! Looks like it's Stains 10, Me 0. Too bad; the stain on the Robert Graham was worse than I thought... don't know how I missed it. : (

Bummer.
I hate stains on white because somehow I always seem to tip them over into the yellowish range.
