I bought the cutest shirt ever and was so exited when the seller printed the shipping label a few minuted after I paid, which was March 10th.
I have been checking tracking several times every single day since then, because I was just soooo excited about the shirt and was hoping to wear it next Thursday on a girls night out. (This is the first time I understand, how a buyer might feel when they are really anxious to get their item).
But tracking just kept saying that a shipping label was created, which was 5 days ago. The seller is located in CA, and only today, 5 days later, tracking says that the shipment arrived and departed Providence, RI. No updated that the item was accepted at the PO in CA, no tracking at all en route. Until I saw that it got to Providence today, I seriously doubted, that the seller shipped the item at all. I kind of feel bad now, because I was just about to send the seller a message and ask, if they actually shipped the shirt.
Anyways, I guess my point is, that shipments just don't get scanned sometimes, and it's so easy to blame the seller or the buyer to be dishonest, when it's not really the case.
I never really check tracking that much, so I don't know if that's normal, that they don't get scanned until they are at the other side of the country?
A lot of times I just drop my packages in the drop-off box, when I don't have too many, because my PO is really good and they know me. Never had a problem getting an acceptance scan either way, but I might rethink that now.
