I never thought I would be dealing with this issue already. LOL Still no plants in the greenhouse because, it was 101 in there yesterday. I have the auto open vent arm, had the door open and put up the shade inside to block a bit of the sun.
I was hoping I could find something similar to an attic fan to use that is solar powered but anything small enough is not powerful enough and anything powerful enough is $200-$300.
Has anyone dealt with this issue and figured it out?

Well after a few different tests with vents and fans, nothing would get it below 98 and it is only March here. So I bought an evaporative cooler for it. Guess my husband is going to have to run electrical for it!

It will probably burst into flames during the heat of summer without a cooler for it.
I thought about setting one of those up in my yard but the heat issue would be a drawback here too.

I was researching greenhouses about 5-6 years ago - thinking about buying one, but never did.
I do remember the larger the house, the easier it is to maintain the temp. You need to get some good airflow going, use a misting system and use shade cloth. This is what turned me off on getting one. There's a LOT of work involved with keeping it nice. Not to mention the cleaning, keeping algae from growing, etc...
My sister-in-law bought one about four years ago. She doesn't do too much with it because I don't think it was what she envisioned.
There's a professional grower down the road from us and I've toured inside their houses. Really nice set up. They use the large evap coolers and vents.

We tried the shade cloth and air flow. Didnt make a dent! It was only 75 here yesterday and it wa 103 in the greenhouse! I cant imagine what it will be like in July! The good news is, melons like heat and humidity so they should do well in there this summer. Typically they are hard to grow in Colorado. LOL

That is not a greenhouse, it is a sauna.

I may have to look into tropical plants for out there! What grows in a sauna? the good news is, I will be able to grow tropical fruit in Colorado. I see a money maker in my future!

There you go! Get a misting system and you'll have your own little rainforest.

Saving the worlds air, 6 feet at a time! I dont want any rain forest creepy crawlies though. Those things just look big from the photos!

Now that it is legal, I cant grow it for money without a permit and license. And they only give out a limited number. I wont be surprised, to be honest, if the enforcement division knocks on my door one day to see if I am growing pot out there so they can check to see if I am following the rules. In my particular city, I couldnt grow it n the greenhouse. It would have to be inside where the grow lights cant be seen at night. All pot plants grown for personal use must be behind a cage system and locked as well. (ask me how I now this.... ) I have to be honest with you, EVERYONE has said to me "are you gonna grow pot he he he". I finally told one guy it stopped being funny after the first 110 people asked. LOL

Mup I worked for a local nursery for years and know how hot those greenhouses can get. I've seen plants in a closed up GH fry like ants under a magnifying glass. It might actually be less expensive to have your DH wire the GH than try the solar route. You might do best with a shuttered exhaust fan on a thermostat control gauge.
What are the dimensions of your greenhouse?

It is 6x6x7. The smaller exhaust fans arent powerful enough to move air in it and the bigger ones are to big. Which is why I ended up getting the evap cooler. If it were bigger, it would be easier to cool honestly!
He is going to run my power soon. The good news is, I have been considerng getting solar panels for the house. I know now just how much solar we actually get back there now! LOL

Oh gee I didn't realize it was quite that small. You're on the right track now especially if you'll be wired soon. Good luck! My sister has a 10'x 20' that she keeps going year round.
