In about a month of selling, I've sold one item--it was a B.O. & my net was same as ebay so I accepted. All good.
Since then, I have accepted offers on 4 other items...and none of the sales were completed. Is this the way it goes--buyers make offers and then decide not to buy?
2 of those asked me questions, after I accepted their offer: can you not ask seller questions until you have an offer in?
And what's with the offers? I expect that on Poshmark, but it also seems to be the norm on Vestaire.
I really have no clue as to what's going on there...

I'm wondering if it's getting to be the norm - just probing to see what a seller will accept without making any commitments. That happens to me on Etsy.

I have one item up there now. People seem to be able to ask questions on your actual listing and you can answer them there. I had a wonky measurement as the site seems to be glitchy for me; I type things in and it changes. I had one other piece rejected and one that they insist I sell for pennies in order to list--aint gonna happen. I find the site difficult to comprehend. Something is definitely getting lost in translation. So I'll leave my one item up; everybody "likes" it, nobody buys it, and see what happens.

I've sold 2 things there now, in the past month. Oh well, not much but they didn't sell on ebay and sold there for a bit more. Seems to be mostly European buyers--most of my Fav & Likes come on European time.

Yes, it has that weird Euro feel. Still, I have a Valentino man's coat that I'd be happy to sell there since it's sitting on eBay.

They can ask questions on the listing which you can answer, but you don't have to be all social media-y chatty like Poshmark? I could live with that.
I need to find a place to re-take photos since they only want flat lie or hangers. I think I can do the hanger thing OK as I have a hanger somewhere around that works for larger sized items.
I'm assuming that being US sellers we're not bound by EU rules of return?!
Haven't found it on the site.
At any rate, I see they have a supermodel pop-up store in Covent Garden London this November. I used to be in London most Novembers and it seemed that that is when so much fashion was launched. I saw a bunch of those top range models when I was there once for London Fashion Week - they don't even look alive they're SO thin and ethereal - mannequins come to life. I expect their clothing donated to the event is going to be very tiny.

chap, I bought 2 big white foamcore boards at Staples. I lay them on the ground side by side or overlapped to take my flats. When not using them I slide them under the couch. Also bought a blk one for flats of white items.

I do have a white foamcore board, and was thinking of bringing it upstairs to try some 'flats' of stuff that looks frumpy on hangers. I just have to get the initiative to drag all the stuff upstairs again and take yet more photos of it. I have a place to hang and scotch tape the more lagenlooky stuff, but the lighting is terrible.
