Good morning Virtual Sellers! Let's talk about the best part of the job for most of us (Chap, you're an anomaly) - Shopping.
How many days a week do you shop? What are your favorite things to find (be as specific or as vague as you like)?
For those of you looking for something for your own closet, here are 3 spring trends every woman can wear:
Paint Splatter - If you don't want to look like you just came from a house painting job, this trend extends to accessories, too. Like a canvas tote with a Jackson Pollock-esque print.
Collarless trench coat
Watches with colored faces

I try to go 3 days a week, but I am one of the "no shopping until it's all listed" ones so sometimes I only go twice. My favorite things to find lately are unusual items or more obscure labels where there won't be 502350753 other sellers with the exact same item listed for $8.00. They are hit and miss, I have done very well with some of these, others sit for awhile because there are less people searching for it. It makes the whole listing process more enjoyable for me though, because I'm not discouraged from the get-go by an oversaturated item.

I have certain places that I go to on their sale days. I only go when I need inventory.
Some of the places I go to are small and my best days are when I walk in and I am the only one in there!

I go once or twice a month to one place. I'm thinking of going weekly for shorter trips. Once a month hauls can be a bit overwhelming.

I go a few times a week usually. But there are times that it is only once. Nothing I hate more though is NOT finding stuff. Especially now that this is my only income it can get scary if I'm not finding much in a few shopping trips in a row.
I love finding tops that are a brand that is at least a bit more hard to find. I also love finding shoes for ME! Shoes are so darn expensive for decent quality and comfort.

2 big days a week but I'll pop in thrifts while running errands throughout the week. I cannot drive by a TS and not stop in if I haven't been for a few days.

I love the shopping part and would go 3 days a week if I could. But I have so much stock that I just can't justify going right now, at least I keep trying to tell myself that. In fact these threads have guilted me into cleaning out my storeroom and gad did I find so much stuff I forgot I even had, and I'm only halfway thru the dang thing. The cats are loving it because there are now boxes and bins stacked everywhere and it's play time. But I am determined to get that sucker cleaned out and organized today so I know where I am at in terms of stock and supplies. As to the fashion trends: Paint splatter: I have lots of those, mostly with boring white paint, but heck if that's the style I can wear them to WalMart Collarless trench coat: seriously? I don't live in long coat country Watches with colored faces: people still wear watches? I haven't worn one in years. I used to have them in all colors, will have to find out what the heck I did with them, probably in a box on the bottom in the very back. Back to cleaning and organizing. And when I am done I am going to reward myself with cake

I go to a few places every week or so, but I try to combine those with other errands nearby. It's been months since I've gone on a 'shopping excursion', hitting multiple spots in a different area or out-of-town.
Like Odyssey, I really enjoy finding unusual clothes - unfamiliar labels, odd/artsy styles. I'm trying to focus less on labels and more on fabrics and styles. I'm also trying to learn more about men's clothing, since I find a lot of it but don't know what's good.
Watches with colored faces: Any of you remember the Timex Color Flicks watch? I had one in the 70's and thought it was THE coolest thing ever. Instead of a second hand, it had a color wheel that rotated and made different colors. Very trippy!

I don't really shop on a schedule. I go when I feel like it or when I'm getting low on inventory. I prefer to find ez to list items, so for me, I like to find the brands I already know & sell. Which works out well, as that's what's usually available LOL. I used to like shopping a lot more than I do now. I see it now as more work.
eta; I haven't worn a watch in years, but I just had to get DH's fixed for a business trip. I was surprised when he wanted to wear it, but he said it wasn't appropriate pulling out his phone in certain situations to look at the time.

I go weekly to the 1/2 price day at SA & do grocery shopping & other errands. Since I found 11 JAMS WORLD size XL shirts for $1.50 each last year I keep holding out hope of finding good things but mostly just B&B or stuff for lots. I've found some nice Hawaiian shirts at St. Vincent de Paul but it's hit or miss (mostly miss). I live in the country so everything is pretty far away. I sell mostly kids but do okay with mens casual, golf & skate things. A new GW is opening near the SA next month so at least there will be 2 stores close together.

GW Grand Openings are great around here. Within a 2 year span we had 3 and they were 3 of my better shopping days when I went for the first time. They definitely pull the best of the best from donations and other locations to make a good impression. They may not be as familiar with labels, but between the knowledge they do have and concentrating on pieces with tags or in the best condition, you'll probably be faced with the best selection you'll ever find there.

That's good to hear. I'll have to be sure to be there. The thrifts around here don't really have much. I do better when I visit my son close to Pittsburgh - There are lots of stores there to check out.
